SHIMMER 86-90! JUST OVER TWO WEEKS AWAY!

We're just over two weeks away from the return of SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES to live action in the Chicago area!

SHIMMER 86-90 will take place over the course of three days of tapings during the weekend of November 11th through 13th, 2016! The events on Friday, November 11th and Saturday, November 12th are at Logan Square Auditorium (2539 N. Kedzie Blvd.) in Chicago, IL. Bell times are 8pm on Friday and 2pm on Saturday. The Sunday, November 13th event is at the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th St.) in Berwyn, IL. Bell time is Noon on Sunday. First and second row ticket holders will be admitted to each of the events 60 minutes prior to bell time each day. General admission ticket holders will be admitted 30 minutes prior to bell time each day. The events are suitable for all ages.

We’re pleased to announce that MICKIE JAMES will join the SHIMMER roster for our November 11th & 12th events at Logan Square! Mickie has been a key figure in women’s pro wrestling for the past 15 years, helping to lay the groundwork for the resurgence of women’s wrestling on the independent scene during the early 2000’s, and then appearing on worldwide television shortly thereafter. On 11/11 & 11/12, we look forward to celebrating the 11th Anniversary of SHIMMER by finally adding Mickie James to the list of amazing competitors to have wrestled on our events!

Two other newcomers to SHIMMER have already been revealed for the weekend as well, including Ring of Honor’s TAELER HENDRIX, and west coast standout HUDSON ENVY! We’re also happy to have the return to action of two women who were sidelined from our last set of events due to injury, the now 100% healthy CANDICE LERAE and LEVA BATES! Plus SHIMMER Champion MERCEDES MARTINEZ, SHIMMER Tag Team Champions HEIDI LOVELACE & EVIE, KELLIE SKATER, NICOLE MATTHEWS, TESSA BLANCHARD, MIA YIM, SARAYA KNIGHT, SHAYNA BASZLER, and many more of our usual roster of top flight talent from around the world! Look for more talent to slowly be revealed on our social media accounts during the remaining two weeks leading up to the shows!

In addition to the three days of SHIMMER events from Nov. 11th through 13th, there will also be a show on Thursday night, Nov. 10th titled “RISE 1 - IGNITE” at the Berwyn Eagles Club, with an 8pm bell time. RISE tickets can be purchased online at www.RISE-wrestling.com, or at the door on the day of the event. RISE tickets are just $5 general admission! The idea behind RISE is “Developing Tomorrow’s Women Athletes,” featuring a roster of up and comers. If you’re in the area that Thursday night, that means have the opportunity to witness four days of live women’s wrestling!
