Good Evening, I attended the Icon's Of Wrestling event this morning in Philadelphia. This event was held in the old ECW arena. This was the first time I've attended a event inside the arena, just for nostalgic purposes this was pretty awesome to see in person. I wanted to share a few words and some photos from the event. Thanks ~ David

The doors opened a little after 9am, a lot of the talent still hadn't arrived, I purchased my tickets for Shawn Michaels first then entered the main room and waited for some of the talent to arrive. I first jumped into Kurt Angle's line he arrived and started to sign autographs, Kurt was great, he thanked me for coming and we struck up a brief conversation. As soon as I was finished with Kurt I moved right over to Bobby Heenan's table. It was upsetting to see Bobby's condition but a honor to meet him.

Shortly after that I meet Jimmy Hart he was very nice and willing to writing anything you wanted on the items getting autographed. He also made sure each photo came out just right. I then moved over to Rob Van Dam's table. I've had the pleasure of meeting RVD many times before and just like those times he was down to earth and happy to greet all the fans. He signed my elite figure which personally I think it came out great!

I then walked to the lobby where Shawn Michaels was going to be signing at 11am, I was about seventh in line, Shawn arrived a little before 11am, I had the chance to tell him what a honor it was to attend WrestleMania 25 and 26 for both of the classic matches he had with The Undertaker. I told him that the WM 25 match was so exciting that I was standing the entire time. He thanked me and joked saying "If it makes you feel any better we were both standing as well that night".

I then went back into the main room to meet Mickie James, she was in great spirits like always. We spoke about her WrestleMania 22 match when she won the women's championship. She was very happy to hear I enjoyed that match and the feud with Trish.

In all I had a great time and really enjoyed myself, I found out that Ring Of Honor will be holding a event in July at that venue, I look forward to going back and watching some great wrestling. ~ David
