Days of the Dead Indianapolis 2015 was another fantastic horror convention. The DotD crew really do a great job on every level to make this show a great event. This year, the featured guest was Ric Flair.Flair was scheduled to appear from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday
and fans were lined up at 10 a.m., well before the convention even opened for
the day. Flair actually arrived early and started to sign around 11:30. Flair
looked great and gave his fans a fun time. The line was long, but moved
relatively quickly, yet everyone had their "special" moment with the
legend.
In addition to Flair, I ran into some other wrestling friends.
"Hardcore" Heather Owens, Mad Man Pondo and Crazy Mary Dobson were also at
DotD. Owens and husband Ed are part of the Days crew, along with having their
own podcast and wrestling careers. Pondo and CMD were there as
fans.
Days has a history of bringing in wrestling guests and with
the success of Flair, I am guessing that trend will continue. They also have
many non-wrestling guests. It all adds up to a great convention. This one is a
"can't miss" on my calendar!
