C2E2 (Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo) started Friday and it seems to be bigger and better than ever. It definitely had a very large wrestling presence today and that will continue throughout the weekend.
As an added wrestling connection, I was joined for a while by Resistance Pro tag team champ Eric St. Vaughn. Road Warrior Animal let ESV wear his shoulder pads. Rikishi gave ESV his title belt. Ken Anderson was very cool. Kevin Nash remembered us from an Resistance Pro show. Jerry "the King" Lawler was also very cool.
I also met Scott Hall and Sean Waltman. Both were in great moods. Waltman even joked that I looked like Jay Leno (which I seem to hear from a lot of wrestlers). Sgt. Slaughter put me in the Cobra Clutch. Al Snow actually did not punch me, which is his usual picture of choice. Tommy Dreamer was really great with some youngsters in line. Also, it is always good to see wrestling promoter and "superfriend" David Herro from Wisconsin.
It was a great first day and I look forward to more fun over the next two days at C2E2.
