1.This weeks show starts off with Sam Roberts still in his moms basement to where he's saying that David Adams ain't here, because he's not allowed within 100 feet from a school, says that there's also a school next door to Sam & says he's there with more PWS stuff to show you. He says you'll see the crowning of a new TV champ with a 1st round match with Brian Myers vs Takaaki Watanabe.
2.We go to the match to where Brian Myers beat Takaaki Watanabe.
3.Dave D-Struction doing a promo to where if you remember being either in middle school or high school, says it's where you had to raise money for your school by standing in front of supermarkets selling 1/2 eaten candy bars that he himself got a hold of & says there's 1 way to raise money for either your middle, high or grammar school. He says that's where PWS comes to either your town, school or gym instead of standing outside of a supermarket trying to sell candy & asks if you'd like to have PWS do a show for you.
4.Then a promo for Kayfabe Commentaries' "Timeline The History Of ECW 1999 As Told By RVD": http://kayfabecommentaries.com/DVD_TE_RVD.html appears to where RVD talks about wrestling during that year & says you can get it on www.shootinterviews.com & after that, is a "Wrestling Universe" promo appears that says it's your 1 stop place for merchandise, says they've got stuff like WWE, TNA, UFC, WCW & ECW action figures past & present & says they've got tshirts, cards, autographed 8X10's & masks. He says they now have baseball & basketball trading cards & more, says they're located at 34-29 Francis Lewis Blvd in Flushing, Queens, NY & their # is 718-460-2777 & some comments from The Blue World Order's Blue Meanie, Stevie Richards & Mike Bucci.
5.Then a Colt Cabana promo appears to where he says it's 4:30 AM & you're watching wrestling, says for some of you it's the weirdest experience you're having all day to where your day's starting & says why not start the day off watching a weird guy wearing spandex. He says it's weird to some because he has been wrestling worldwide to where he's known as Colt Cabana, says for others they've turned the TV on to where they're about to do their shift & says you've made the good choice & to stick with it. He says PWS has a great show with great stuff coming up that you'll dig.
Colt says leave it on WLNY because why else would you be watching that channel, says it's the smartest choice you've made all day & says you just started your day off fresh.
6.We then go to the ring to where Mick Foley comes down, says he's sure there's 700 fans that came down tonight to watch PWS & then does his "right here, in Rahway, New Jersey" cheap pop. After this The Untouchables' AC Gamble, Anthony Bowens & Bobby Wayward come to the ring, Foley tells them he'll give them the mic to where he's got respect for them & mentioned something about the Freebirds to where fans threw in toilet paper in the ring. Bobby Wayward calls Foley a legend & have respect for him to where 15 to 20 years ago, Foley was 1 of their favorites.
Bobby Wayward tells Foley that Gamble & Bowens were left out of the tag title match to where they deserve gold, says they need gold around their waists to where Foley should give them a title shot & Foley says he sees himself in them to where he had a desire to be the best. He says he'll give them a title shot but first, he wants Gamble & Bowens to wrestle each other in the 1st round in the PWS TV title tournament & says it starts now.
7.Anthony Bowens beat AC Gamble in the 1st round in the PWS TV title tournament.
8.We're in the locker room to where David Adams interviews Wayward to where Bobby tells him that Foley screwed The Untouchables, says both Bowens & Gamble deserve a tag title shot to where Foley put them in a no win situation & says Bowens will go to Round 2 in the TV title tournament to where Gamble don't have any gold around his waist. Then Bowens comes in to argue with Wayward & Gamble when Wayward tried pulling his leg to almost make him lose during the match & Gamble tells Bowens that he has more of a shot of winning the TV title then he does.
Gamble says he's bigger, stronger & more powerful to where he feels that Bobby had the team in mind, Bobby admits he did but tells Anthony that all that matters is that he won to where he'll be in Round 2 for the TV title. He tells Anthony that they've got his back to where he promises that, tells Anthony that they're a team & tells him not to worry.
9.Another D-Struction promo saying the "PWS #4dvrmovement" shirt: www.prowrestlingtees.com/4-dvr-movement-black.html was made for all of you that has supported the #4 wrestling organization nationwide, especially the 164,000 that's watching on DVR & tells those that's watching on WLNY to show the support that PWS came to them first, to where PWS will be shown in multiple cities nationwide. After this is a "Back To The Territories with Jim Cornette & J.J. Dillon" DVD promo to where they talk about the Mid Atlantic days, says it's 3 & a 1/2 hours of wrestling history with rare memorabilia & exclusive footage & says it's got lost Mid Atlantic footage from Cornette's collection to where you can get it on shootinterviews.com .
10.Then a "Create A Pro Wrestling Academy" promo appears: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4n_Tk3oTw48 , then another D-Struction promo to where he's in Rahway at a bachelor party for a fan named Travis, Dave asks Travis if he's enjoying himself to where Travis says yes & Dave says it's good that they've got a censor button that bleeped out whatever Travis said. He says PWS can be at your bachelor party too to where he again plugs the site, lets the fans at the party express how they feel & again plugs the site for more info.
11.Then a Raven promo appears doing his "quote the Raven, nevermore" catchphrase, then a video with the Monster Island guys Sprinkles The Clown, "Hellbelly" Jones, Doomsday & Giant Leather & after this, is a video collaboration with Mike "The Lifeguard" Del, Starman, Shynron, Amazing Red & Kevin Matthews.
12.Then a "Don't Forget Your Roots" promo appears to where it mentions Lyle Alzado was in the '88 sitcom "Learning The Ropes" [which to this day is STILL not released on DVD]: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Learning_the_Ropes . Anyhow it says on the show Lyle played a high school teacher by day, but by night he was "The Masked Maniac" to where it also had NWA stars on it. It then says Gorgeous George's 1st TV appearance was in '47 & then in '49, he was in the film "Alias The Champ" [also not on DVD].
It then mentioned that there was a wrestling video game by Atari called "Title Match Pro Wrestling" for their Atari 2600 in '86 to where players can choose between 4 wrestlers: Skinhead, Mad Dog, Big Chief & Mr. Mean from Hoboken, NJ. Then it says the fireball was innovated by The Sheik to where he also trained others like RVD, Bruiser Brody & Sheik's nephew, Sabu. It then says that the iron claw was innovated by Fritz Von Erich to where Fritz was the WCCW owner from '66 to '88 & his kids were Kevin, Kerry, David, Chris & Mike Von Erich.
13.Jushin Thunder Liger does his PWS promo, after that it's back in Sam's moms basement to where if he did the show anywhere else, David Adams would follow him & says you'll see 2 guys to where both feel they should be a champion. He says it's the On The Spot Title Shot [OTSTS] to where the medallion holder, Dan Maff can have a title shot whenever he wants & says Dan faces someone that feels should've never lost the PWS title to where it's Bonesaw.
14.Dan Maff beat Bonesaw via DQ when Bonesaw did a low blow on Dan, then Bonesaw steals the medallion to where Foley comes out & throws Bonesaw back in the ring & Dan beats up Bonesaw to where he takes the medallion back. Then says he'll make a rematch to where it's now a hardcore match with the medallion on the line, then as Dan gets up, Bonesaw leaves.
15.Then a Foley promo appears to where he plugs the upcoming 4/25 show at Rahway, NJ's Rec Center: www.bedofnailz.com/pwstickets.html to where you'll see Team 3D [Bubba Ray & Devon Dudley], Jake Roberts, Larry Zbyszko & Terry Funk. After this we're outside with The Scranton Strangler 1st appears, then Matt Macintosh pulls him aside saying he's got this & then Matt says he's at the PWS training center to where he knows that Mario Bokara's there training. He says Mario's got a problem with him costing him his OTSTS medallion, then sees Mario as he's leaving the center.
Matt tells Mario that he forgot his decoder ring which now has him understanding every 3rd word Mario says, asks Mario as to what's his problem with him & Mario says Matt stole his opportunity to get the PWS title to where it's his. Matt tells Mario that he reminds him of Habib From The Carwash because Mario stole from him, tells Mario he took nothing from him & says since Mario already had his shot, it's Matt's time now. He tells Mario that he sends guys like him back to where they came from to where he's a nobody like Habib.
Matt tells Mario if they wanna settle their problems they should do it now, then changes his mind & says they should do it next week in the ring to where they'll see as to who deserves to be the champ. He says he guarantees it won't be Mario, says he'll give Mario a week to prepare & Mario says he's more prepared then Matt to where he accepts Matt's challenge. He tells Matt he'll see how big Matt thinks he is when he leaves with a broken arm & Matt tells him he'll see him next week.
16.Then a Nikos Rikos promo appears to where he says he's here in the USA to live the American dream & reap the awards for being here, says in Greece he was a chiropractor to where he gave his patients new life & says when he got to America, he was reduced & thrown down to the bottom of the barrel. He says he used to work at a Greek restaurant to where he was stereotyped, says he's tired of cleaning plates, asking customers if they're done & splitting tips with busboys & says he's in America for money & to win matches.
Nikos says that's all he cares about, tells everyone they'll be sorry that they threw him down when he's standing over them & says he'll fix their spines to where the promo ends with "coming soon".
17.Then the following videos appear: D-Struction tells Del Roy that the world don't move to 1 drums beat, says what may be right for Del Roy might not be right for others & when Del asks Dave as to what he's talking about, Dave says he don't know. Then a Starman video game like promo appears saying "what doesn't kill us is making us stronger", then Sandy Man asks Philip Simon II to smile & after this is a Johnny Howl promo that says "It is a race & I know I can make it, I'm learning the rules of the game. I can stay on the ball, take it minute by minute I just might make the hall of fame".
Another Starman video game like promo appears saying "we're gonna last longer", then a Chris Payne promo asking on whatever happened to predictability in regards to the milkman, paperboy & evening TV, then The Untouchables does a "Three's Company" parody by saying to come knock on their door to where they're waiting for you & says the kisses are hers & hers & his. Another Scranton Strangler promo appears playing with rope while Sandy Man tells him that the new boy in the neighborhood lives downstairs.
Another Chris Payne promo saying everywhere you look & go, there's a hand to hold on to, another Scranton Strangler/Sandy Man promo to where Sandy tells him that the new boy's there to take care of Sandy just like 1 of the family, another Chris Payne promo saying when you're lost & alone, that's where a light's there waiting to carry you home & then a video of Habib in Pakistan hoping on a green vehicle. He then opens up a sign that says "America or bust". Then the show ends with a plug for the 4/25 Spring Breakdown show in Rahway, NJ.

Recap of Mario Mancini on In Your Head Wrestling Radio, 02/27/2015

Hosts Jack E. Jones and One Inch Biceps welcomed back former WWF wrestler Mario Mancini to IYH Wrestling Radio for an encore performance. Mario was selected by the IYH fans as the 2014 “Interview of the Year”.
Highlights included the following:
* His memories of wrestling The Wild Samoans and Haku:
“Afa and Sika were great. Afa would teach you in the dressing room, even if you weren’t working with him. He watched my match once. We were somewhere in Pennsylvania and we were at a high school, and I came back from my match and I asked Afa if he watched it, and he said, “Yeah, it was really good, kid. It was really good…Just one thing. When you chop someone, you don’t skim their chest like that; you lay it in, like this.” And he chopped me and I left my feet, and about three feet behind me I just smashed up against the lockers, and went straight down. And he said, “You got that?” I said, “I got it.” But to work with them in the ring, they’re just like anybody else…You have to be awake, though, because if you’re stiffer you’re like a piece of lead in there. If you’re weight in there they’ll lay it in to wake you up, if you’re just a little lethargic in there. I’ve seen them do that to people before, and you know what? They’re just doing their thing. Listen, Haku did it to me. Terry Garvin called me at like 11:30 in the morning at my house, and he goes, “Mario, we need you in Johnstown, Pennsylvania tonight.” And I said, “OK, where’s that?” He goes, “About 40 miles east of Philadelphia.”…Well, it was about 40 miles east of Pittsburgh, 418 miles one way. I was late. (Gorilla) Monsoon looks at me and goes, “Where the hell were you?” I said, “Garvin told me this thing was four hours away. It’s eight hours away.” He says, “Get dressed.” So I look up at the board, and it says Haku v. Mancini. Haku and I got along well, and he said, “Mancini, how you doing?” And I said, “I’m just a little tired, you know?” He goes, “Yeah yeah, warm up and get that out of you.” Well, evidently it wasn’t out of me. And the first 90 seconds of the match he just got me against the ropes and he just took his hand and just buried it in my midsection, and that woke me up quick. For anybody who doesn’t know, in the history of pro wrestling, the fans always go ‘I wonder if there was a real fight who would win? I wonder if this wasn’t fake who would really go over?’ The answer is Haku. Haku would have been the reigning Heavyweight Champion for years, because he was the toughest guy that ever entered professional wrestling. He could kill you with his bare hands. People
feared him.”
* You were The Undertaker’s first match in the WWF. What are your thoughts on wrestling him and are you surprised his career has lasted as long as it has?
“How was it to work with The Undertaker? Obviously, at the time, you really can’t see what’s going to happen…Here was this guy that was 6 foot 7 or 6 foot 8, and I knew he was Mean Mark in another organization…I walked up to him and said “I’m Mario Mancini and…we’re working together. I’ve been here for six years… there’s nothing I can’t do. I’ve been here for six years and I’m here to put you over.”…He said OK, and I said, “What do you want to do?” He told me what he wanted to do, and he said “Just one thing for me, please?...I’m gonna walk the top rope.” And I said, “You’re gonna walk the top rope?” He said, “Yeah.”…I said, not a problem. He said, “Can you take a clothesline backwards over the top rope?” I said, “Absolutely”…And that was it, it was a good match. He said he was going to give me that reverse piledriver and I said I’d taken that many times from Don Muraco; not a problem. That was it. Did I think he would last 25 years? No. No, I didn’t think he’d last 25 years at all. It’s a rough business…I just didn’t see Mark lasting 25 years, but God Bless Him. Sometimes I wish that when he gets inducted into the Hall of Fame I’m there in the crowd, because I am the answer to that trivia question ‘Who was his very first match?’, and it was me. Great guy, nice guy, class guy, good worker, he wasn’t stiff, treated me well, thanked me a million times; good guy.”
* His thoughts of The Brooklyn Brawler, Steve Lombardi:
“I might have mentioned Lombardi, but we didn’t get into it. Thank God, because then I would have really got cranky. But I still maintain if the SOB gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame before I do, I will be going down to Stamford…He absolutely disgusts me, the way he got his break. You know what? You had other superstars there, that were already established; I never had a judgment on those guys. And I mention those guys, because I have respect for them, because they were gay, but they were already on top. They were already over big-time…Lombardi…he did it specifically to get over; he did it to get over.”
