To the visitors and paying members of PyroandBallyhoo.com,

My name is Chris Cash, and for those of you unaware, I was partners with Vince Russo on PyroandBallyhoo.com from day one. Most of you probably know what's going on by now, but if not, feel free to read my statement on PyroandBallyhoo.com's main page as to why the website is closing. 

I have given Vince every opportunity to purchase the site and use it for his future project, but as of now, it doesn't seem like he's interested.

The domain -- PyroandBallyhoo.com -- is registered to me and I have been given the green light to sell it. I have received a fair offer from an interested party and while it wasn't my initial goal to sell it, I don't really have much use for it anymore. Mind you, if I were to sell to an outside party, it would be strictly for the domain without any content, and I would also make sure to have them sign an agreement that states that will not use any existing content of the site (free of paid section), nor are they able to use Vince Russo's name or likeness. 

I have no idea what they would use the domain for, but that would be out of my control once released.

BEFORE I CONSIDER SELLING...I wanted to suggest an option that YOU -- the visitors and subscribers to the site -- might be interested in. 

Several members of "The Brand" have asked that I keep it up and running as a private community of some kind, specifically for them. I would absolutely love to do that, but we'd have to look at how we would re-brand it exactly. We can't use Vince's name or likeness either, and even though "The Brand" is a phrase I feel perfectly confident I am also able to use, I know Vince's intention is to use that going forward. My feelings on that aside, I don't really want to interfere with that either.

So, my suggestion is something along the lines of this:

If enough of you were interested, I would leave the site up, and basically hand it over to YOU by form of self-funding, plus I'd strip it of all its current content, and repackage it into a new private community. 

If enough members agreed to re-sign up at a very discounted rate per month, I would be willing to do the following:

- Rebuild and use the free site as an avenue for you, the fans, to have a voice through podcasts, blogs, etc. (Note: we'd probably vote on the best people to contribute to make sure to ensure quality.) 
- Use the VIP site has a private forum for you guys to use also, and as much as you want to use it. A forum-type community but also with some exclusive content I could produce and possibly host if/when needed. Heck, maybe some of YOU could even HOST THE INTERVIEWS! I'd produce, you host. Might be a neat feature.
- I could set up some cool VIP features like live chats during Raw, call-in shows, maybe a little news roundup like we did with the "Daily Dirt Roundup" and instead of it being Vince's feedback put in, it could be various members of this community, etc. Just a few ideas of the top of my head.

Another cool thing I could make happen as it pertains to exclusive content for the VIP section: if we had the funds through membership money to pay for it: I could reach out to some other wrestlers and wrestling perrsonalities -- pay them a nominal fee each month to contribute to the site via interviews, blogs, Q&A's, etc. Who I get and how often would vary depending on who I could reach, who would be interested, their fees, etc., but I do have many contacts in the business and am very confident I could get plenty of them to do those types of things. 

To match the offer I already have, I would need a solid 500 members to re-sign up. That would mostly cover server and hosting fees, plus any fees I would use for potential contributing wrestlers/wrestling personalities. 

This email will likely reach about 750 people. If each would pay between $1.95-$3.95 month for life of membership, we could make it work. I'd set up three tiers of $1.95, $2.95 and $3.95...pay any of those three prices you want, but everyone will receive the same access. (The only reason to pay more would be to help get more funds for extra features and guest wrestler contributions).

I would love to try and find a way to give back to each and everyone of you before deciding to just sell it to the highest bidder. This is the only way I know to do it that would be fair and could be quite enjoyable -- to basically turn the site over to you guys!
