At King of Trios, the Voladores Will Fly High!

 CHIKARA's massive King of Trios tournament arrives at The Palmer Center in Easton, PA the weekend of September 19th, 20th, and 21st! The biggest tournament in all of professional wrestling – featuring a total 48 competitors in 16 teams - is the also CHIKARA’s biggest event of the year. And 2014 is going to be no different!
 
In addition to the Trios tournament, the Rey de Voladores mini-tournament will take place during Nights 2 and 3! Night 2 will include two Voladores elimination matches with four competitors fighting until there is only one winner. The winner of each eliminator will wrestle in the finals on Night 3!
 


The first elimination match features Shynron versus Chuck Taylor versus Tigre Uno versus Rich Swann!
 
Shynron attacks with a stunning array of daring aerial moves, including his signature bottom rope 450 splash, and the Spirit Dragon will bring his most innovative offense in this quest to win the Rey de Voladores!
 
The Kentucky Gentleman Chuck Taylor is no stranger to the RdV, having won the very first tournament back in 2007, but can he repeat this feat and become the first man in history to win the tournament twice?  
 
Tigre Uno (aka Extreme Tiger) is a recent newcomer to the United States, but this fierce feline from AAA in Mexico is already making an impact in TNA and wants begin building a reputation for himself by winning the RdV!
 
Rich Swann wasn’t able to win the Rey de Voladores back in 2010, but he returns this year focused and ready to do whatever it takes to win the tournament, even if that means going all night long!
 


The first wrestler entered into the second RdV elimination match has been revealed and it’s The Great Sanada!

Great Sanada is a protégé of The Great Muta and quickly lived up to his pedigree in TNA by winning the X Division Championship. Now, he’s entered into the RdV and wants to add to his accolades by winning the tournament!
