A huge fall coming up for ECWA!!!First, we celebrate the 47th Anniversary of the company (est Aug 27, 1967) on Sept 6, 2014 at the Boys and Girls Club in Newark, Del!
Bobby Shields defends the Heavyweight Championship in a rematch against Napalm Bomb w/ Joel Blackhart, this time with TWO referees so there are no discrepancies as to who the clear cut winner is!
Then, after winning a non-title contest in July, the unlikely team of
Greek God Papadon and Ricky Martinez go for the tag gold this time against defending champions Team CK (Kage & "Hybrid" Sean Carr) w/ Renee Michelle!
The feud between "Heart Killer" Chris Wylde and the "Madman" Mark Harro comes to a head in a chain match, as Wylde defends the Mid-Atlantic Championship with Wylde's friend and Harro's former friend "Maple Leaf Machine" Kao Storm as the special guest referee!
Then it's the Boss's Challenge, win 5 matches and get a title shot or lose and leave ECWA forever! So far, Matt Saigon had defeated Donnie Hart and Bolo Yung. This month he goes up against the Boss Mike Tartaglia's cousin, Michael (don't call me "Little Mikey" anymore) Spanos! The Boss is counting on his little cuz to rid ECWA of Saigon for good at the Big Anniversary Event!
In other great matches, we have a 4 way tornado match and the winner gets a shot at the ECWA Mid-Atlantic Championship! It's going to be wild as Dirty Money, the "Extreme Redneck" Chuck Payne w/ "Referee" Phil Sly and his legal counsel, Breaker Morant and Oz Tyler go at it in a free for all!
In another rematch, ECWA resident hero Kid USA goes one on one once again against ECWA Developmental Talent BRANDON! In July, BRANDON scored a huge upset and impressed ECWA faithful with a huge win and a fabulous debut! Kid USA, a mentor of sorts to the young upstart at the ECWA Training Camp, looks to redeem his loss from last month!
And in a big ARM WRESTLING MATCH CHALLENGE, Meisure Ooh La La w/ Coach Jim Shorts takes on "4-0" Referee Phil Sly w/ his legal counsel! Sly stated he has already proved he is the superior wrestler to Ooh La La, and now wants to prove he is the more powerful competitor. Ooh La La, looking to get his hands any way possible on Sly, gladly accepted! Also, there is a buzz going around that Sly also has a big announcement to
make at the anniversary show ... Lord only knows what the crooked ref and his "lawyer" are up to now!!!
Then, on October 11, 2014 at the YMCA of Salem County in Carney's Point, NJ for the first time in ECWA history, it will be the ALL-WOMEN'S ECWA SUPER 8 CHICKFIGHT TOURNAMENT!!!
The winner will not only hold the prestige of being the first female
Super 8 Champion, but will also be crowned as the ECWA Women's Champion as the championship is currently vacant!
