New England pro wrestling Hall of Fame to recognize longtime Super Fan and friend to all.The wrestling world lost a true friend and the ultimate fan this past June by the name of Shuehi Aoki. Shuehi will be remembered and enshrined forever as the New England pro wrestling Hall of Fame has announced the addition of the Shuehi Aoki Humanitarian award starting at next years ceremony for the Class of 2015.
The Hall will make sure the award gets to Shuehi`s family and will continue to award someone each and every year with the Shuehi Aoki Humanitarian award!

I know this event was a few weeks ago but I wanted to share some thoughts on the New England Pro Wrestling Fan Fest in Rhode Island back in June. Let me start by saying how accommodating Joe Bruen and his entire staff were. The event was incredibly well done from the Dinner with the Stars on Friday to the convention itself and then the Hall of Fame ceremony. Some current WWE wrestlers even showed up Friday night so you never know what to expect.
My wife and I each had a super ticket for the event which was a really great value. Most conventions only have 12 to 15 guests on their ticket and 1 auto/1 photo per but Joe went above and beyond having nearly 30 guests and 2 autos/1 photo for each of them. In addition to that he threw in some deluxe photo ops including bikini pics with a couple of ex-divas. All the guests seemed genuinely happy to be involved and were very nice to each of the fans. Combine that with a hall of fame lineup of vendor guests leads to a great time of meeting people you grew up idolizing.
To sum everything up we drove all the way up from Baltimore for the weekend and had a blast. I promise it was well worth the drive and the hotel the event was held at was top notch. I really hope I'm able to attend next year because I know it will be just as great as this year was and hope to see some of the people reading this there as well.
