Hi there,Just got back from the WWE house show at the Montréal Bell Centre.
I'd estimate the crowd between 8000 to 9000 fans, pretty good for a non-televised event. Crowd was alive and noisy all along.
There was a meet & greet with Dolph Zigler to the first 50 fans who bought his new pink t-shirt. (30$). That one sold out pretty quick.
Show started right on time (7:30) , and intermission was a mere 10 minutes. It was over by 10:05.
Santino Marella beat Jack Swagger
R-Truth beat The Miz
Beth Phoenix & Natalya beat Eve & Tamina
Chris Jericho beat Kofi Kingston
Daniel Bryan pinned Randy Orton in a 3-way with Big Show
Primo & Epico beat Zack Ryder & Mason Ryan
John Cena beat Kane in a last man standing match
CM Punk pinned Dolph Ziggler in 16:26 mins.
Punk spent a few minutes praising the hot crowd after the show, saying that a crowd like that makes it worth the travel.
Really, no match deserves to be called worst match. Both title matches were very good.
Santino, Orton and Punk got by far the most cheers.
the reaction to Cena was pretty much 50-50.
Miz was quite impressive, saying many short sentences in French.
As usual, they said they love coming here and will ''return soon'' for whatever this is worth.
