Presented by http://www.DeathGripClothing.com/ Shimmer- WOMEN ATHLETES returns to the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL on Saturday & Sunday, March 17th & 18th, 2012. Volumes 45-48 of the SHIMMER series will be filmed during the course of that weekend. Bell time on Saturday, March 17th is 2pm. Bell time on Sunday, March 18th is 1pm. The events are suitable for all ages.

The four newest additions to the announced talent roster for this weekend's events are "Fighting Irish" Rhia O'Reilly, Melanie Cruise, Mean Libra, and Shazza McKenzie.

RHIA O'REILLY - A graduate of Lance Storm's Storm Wrestling Academy in Calgary, Rhia O'Reilly is currently a part of both the Pro-Wrestling EVE and World Association of Women's Wrestling rosters on events in the United Kingdom. She was also one of the women who participated in this past weekend's NCW Femmes Fatales event in Montreal. Rhia made her Berwyn Eagles Club debut during early 2011 as part of our SPARKLE pre-show bouts, and will make her SHIMMER main show/DVD debut just five days from now!
MELANIE CRUISE & MENA LIBRA - Cruise and Libra joined forces at the last set of SHIMMER tapings, and made their presence known on Volume 41 by attacking the debuting Hailey Hatred and Kalamity. Cruise and Libra emerged victorious in the tag team bout against them which followed on Volume 42, demonstrating that they are a powerful force not to be messed with in the SHIMMER tag team division.
MELANIE CRUISE & MENA LIBRA - Cruise and Libra joined forces at the last set of SHIMMER tapings, and made their presence known on Volume 41 by attacking the debuting Hailey Hatred and Kalamity. Cruise and Libra emerged victorious in the tag team bout against them which followed on Volume 42, demonstrating that they are a powerful force not to be messed with in the SHIMMER tag team division.
SHAZZA McKENZIE - With former SHIMMER Champion and PWWA founder Madison Eagles currently sidelined indefinitely with injury, another Australian competitor joins the SHIMMER ranks this weekend. Shazza McKenzie comes to us from PWWA, and looks to make her own mark on the wrestling scene in the United States much like Madison, Jessie McKay, and Kellie Skater have over the past several years.

Plus more competitors will be added during the remaining days. Over 30 of the top female professional wrestlers from around the world will be a part of the festivities! Two full length DVDs will be filmed during each day of taping, with an intermission and a meet & greet with the wrestlers in between.
General admission seating is still available for the events, and can be purchased right now at a cost of $30 per full day of taping (essentially $15 per DVD worth of live matches). Visit http://www.shimmerwrestling.com/ to purchase your tickets in advance. Be advised that seating is very limited, and the events are expected to completely sell out. Once we reach venue capacity, we must turn away any additional fans looking to purchase last minute tickets at the door on the day of the show. If you'd like to attend, be sure to secure your tickets in advance to guarantee admission. Fewer than 20 tickets remain available for the Saturday show before we reach capacity.

Signed to be a part of that event will be a trios tag team bout of Sara Del Rey & The Canadian Ninjas vs. MsChif & Christina Von Eerie & Athena.
