I attended the Resitance Pro Wrestling debut event, Black Friday. It was an excellent first effort by all involved. The only problems involved the pre-purchased tickets line, but that was quickly resolved by the RPW staffers. The rest of the night went very smoothly. The matches were a nice combination of brawling, high-flying, technical and even a little hard-core. They were good paced and entertaning all night.
After the matches, there was a meet and greet with the wrestlers at Excalibur. The music was a bit loud to really talk to them, but we did interview Icarus and Harry Smith for my site. I took pictures with Hallowicked, the Briscoe Brothers and Raven. I talked a bit with Lisa Marie Varon (who remembered me from a previous interview).
They also made an announcement that their next event would be Friday January 13 at Excalibur. I am looking forward to seeing how this start-up promotion develops. So far, they are doing great.
