W.O.W. comes back to Staten Island for anniversary show
The east coast’s premier pro wrestling organization Warriors of Wrestling comes back to Staten Island for our Four Year Anniversary Show. The show takes place on December 3rd at Funstation USA (3555 Victory Blvd). The event marks the end of the company’s fourth year in operation. “Nobody thought we would last a show, let alone four years” remarked Commissioner Joe Miller. “We have worked so hard these past few years to garner a following, and the people have responded. Now it’s our time to give back with the biggest show in our history.”
The main event of the show follows a match that is six months in the making. Jason Kross had won the Ultimate Survival match in July, beating 29 other men to win himself a shot at the heavyweight champion at the Anniversary Show. Abdul Nasir has become one of the most successful and hard working champions in the company’s history. After months of build, the first match between these two will take place on December 3rd. Many are expecting this match to be one of the most hate filled fights in company history. With the Syndicate behind Nasir, and the fans behind Kross, who will leave the Fourth Anniversary Show as Heavyweight Champion?
As Joey B of the Wifebeaters mentioned at “Brooklyn Beatdown”, the former tag champions have defeated every team in the company. However, the one team that has eluded them was the Society of Ventrue (Jasin Karloff and John Cannon). The match has been signed for these two teams on December 3rd. This will be the first meeting in a 2-on-2 tag match between two teams. Both have cemented their legacy in the company. Which team will continue to show their dominance on December 3rd?
For months, the American Nightmare have set their sights on Rude Boy Riley, Chris Cartagena, and B.A. Kid. Seeing them as the first names on their list to bring down the company, they have done all in their power to end the careers of these three men. On December 3rd, this feud will come to a halt as the two teams will compete in six man tag Street Fight. These teams have shown in the past that they are more than comfortable in a hardcore setting. With all the anger built up between the teams, who knows what kind of violence is in store for the crowd that night.
