CHIKARA: Eddie Kingston Injured! El Generico vs. Jigsaw will be FREE on Nov 13!
Over this past weekend Eddie Kingston, suffered a debilitating leg injury, that leaves his health in question. After losing to Gerard's STF in Williamsport, he was then struck in the kneecap with a steel chair. Kingston could barely walk to the back, and was unable to leave the venue without assistance. Kingston, who won Block B of the giant "12 Large: Summit" round robin tournament was scheduled to compete for the Grand Championship of CHIKARA at our "High Noon" iPPV event of November 13, but his status is now uncertain.
With the main event of our most important event in company history on hold, we will wait for Kingston's physician to evaluate him Wednesday morning and assess the damage that has been done to his ailing knee.
On a brighter note, the just-signed singles encounter between El Generico and Jigsaw will take place before our iPay-Per-View goes live on November 13th. A special 45-minute Pre-Show-A-Go-Go will stream out FOR FREE on our UStream channel prior to "High Noon" being sent out via Go Fight Live. The Pre-Show will feature live interviews, a number to call in and chat with the stars of the show, and a whole lot more - all hosted by Dr. Keith Lipiniski, DDS.
