The Clash at the Cove 13 in South Bend (IA) was an awesome event. Despite some horrible weather and a couple wrestlers wrestlers missing due to family issues, the show went on and was highly entertaining.

Prior to the start of the show, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Greg 'the Hammer' Valentine posed and signed pictures for the fans. At $10, this was quite a great deal and both men really connected with the fans.

An announcement was made that Tammy Sytch was running late due to bad weather in Chicago. It was promised that she would be there at some point.

I also met Sgt. Peterson and Cosmic (Stars and Stripes) a very entertaining tag team. They cut a great promo, too.
Duggan and Valentine came out again at intermission. They posed and signed tirelessly, as did Sgt. Peterson and Cosmic.

After the intermission, it was announced that Tammy would not make it to the show, but would be there later and would sign for everyone who waited. While this was a disappointment, it was great to get updates.

The matches ended around 9, the staff kept announcing Tammy updates and Tammy arrived around 9:45. Tammy stayed for about an hour, signing for everyone who waited.

You cannot control weather or family matters, but the IAW should be applauded for keeping the info flowing to the fans and for putting on a great show. Every wrestler worked his butt off, especially Brian Costello who wrestled two matches and was involved in a third. This was almost like watching wrestling from my youth. It was great old-school wrestling at its best.

I only had two small complaints. Brian Costello did not come out to sign and pose, but I assume he was busy with other matters. I just wanted to meet him though. Also, it was tough getting info beforehand about the show. I couldn't find a website of FB page.

Overall, it was a great show and I hope there is a Clash 14 (whether at the Cove or elsewhere).
