Allentown, Pa - Rodney Anoa’i, better known to the wrestling world as The Mighty Yokozuna, was one of the greatest Superstars in WWE history. Heralded as one of the best big men EVER in the sport, he possessed unmatched agility for a man of his size. Inside the ring he dominated the ranks of the WWE defeating the likes of Lex Luger, Bret The Hitman Hart, Hulk Hogan and countless others during his reign as Champion. Outside of the ring he was one of the most likable personalities in the eyes of his peers and fans alike. The wrestling world mourned the loss of Yokozuna in 2000. In 2001 WXW and the Anoa’i family held The Yokozuna Memorial Show in Allentown Pa. The show was attended by hundreds of fans & wrestlers who wished to show their support, as well as WWE Superstars, The Undertaker, Kane, JBL and Ron Simmons to name a few. It was a great night celebrating the life and career of Rodney Anoa’i.

This October 1st, come help us celebrate what would have been the 45th birthday of this gentle giant and show his children & family while he may be gone, he’ll never be forgotten. The children of Yokozuna, Keilani and Justin Anoa’i and WXW-C4 are proud to present,

The Yokozuna Memorial II Ten Years in the Making!! “Gone But Never Forgotten”

We are currently in negotiations with a few venues in the Philadelphia area, trying to find just the right place to accommodate such a special event. Details coming soon!!!!! www.wxwc4.com

Other Upcoming Shows

Saturday night July 16th, NWS returns to the Dunellen, NJ Knights Of Columbus Hall (647 Grove Street, just off Washington Avenue & Route 28) for the 2011 Captain Lou Albano Memorial J-Cup Tag-Team Tournament, with a 7:35pm bell time.
The late Captain Lou, a WWE Hall-of-Fame manager and movie star, was a good friend to NWS and made many colorful appearances with them in the last years of his life. As Lou's biggest claim to fame in the WWE was managing championship tag-teams, NWS has decided to rename one of the biggest tag-team events in pro wrestling, the annual J-Cup Tag-Team Tournament, in his honor.
Eight of the best tag-teams on the circuit today will compete in a one-night single elimination tournament, with the winning team getting the coveted trophy, bragging rights, and being in line for a tag-team title shot. This year's field includes the NWS Tag-Team Champions The Jersey Shore Jocks, previous winners Team Supreme, and other great pairings. There will also be a special appearance by another WWE Hall-of-Fame alumnus, and a former tag-team champion himself, the great Nikolai Volkoff.
Tickets are a great summer bargain at only $19 for adults and $17 for kids and seniors. You can view the video about upcoming shows at
Tickets for all upcoming shows are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704. All major charge cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.
