Other Upcoming Shows
Saturday night April 30th, NWS returns to the very popular (and frequently sold-out) Brick, NJ Elks Lodge (2491 Hooper Avenue, just off Route 70 & the Brick Plaza, minutes from the Parkway) with a 7:35pm bell time.
NWS has hosted some of its biggest shows, and brought some of its biggest stars ever, to the Brick, NJ Elks Lodge. And NWS plans to raise the bar once again, as headlining their return to this popular (and often sold-out) venue will be a second-generation wrestler, a former WWE Intercontinental and Tag-Team Champion and talk show host, Carlito. This will be Carlito's first-ever Jersey Shore appearance, and you definitely do not want to miss it. In addition to Carlito, a whole host of grudges will be settled in Brick. At the last Ocean County area show in March, local favorites The Jersey Shore Jocks (Mike Dennis & Chris D'Andrea) and Jersey Shore lunatic Slayer had a wild six-man tag-team brawl with Jumping Joey Janela and Bobby Youngblood and "Corrupted" Corey Havoc. This time around, NWS officials hope to be able to keep them under control by having them wrestle in three separate one-on-one matches. Two more opponents that were out of control at the last Ocean County show were "The Canadian Hockey Goon" Rocco Dorsey and local favorite and former police offier "The Bounty Hunter" Johnny Ringo. This time around, to keep their match under control and inside the ring, they will meet in a Lumberjack Match, where the ring will be surrounded by all the other wrestlers in the building, who are charged with making sure the in-ring action stays in-ring. Brick will also play host to a number-one contender's match for the NWS Heavyweight Title, as former champion and Ocean County fan-favorite Ray-Ray Marz battles ROH star Judas Young for one last shot at regaining his belt. Also in Brick will be former ECW brawler The Equalizer, NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans, "Atomic Dog" Ali, international star Danny Inferno, Father Ozzy, Christino, and much more. Tickets are only $21 for adults and $19 for kids and seniors.
Friday night May 6th, NWS returns to another popular venue in central Jersey, the Manville, NJ V.F.W. Hall (600 Washington Avenue, just off Main Street, minutes from Routes 28 and 287) with a 7:45pm bell time.
The Manville V.F.W. Hall has hosted some of the biggest nights of NWS over the past several years. But when NWS returns to this popular central Jersey venue on May 6th, it may prove to be their biggest night ever, as two huge TV wrestling legends will be appearing that night. One of these legends is a second-generation star from one of pro wrestling's most famous families, a former WWE Intercontinental and Tag-Team Champion (and talk show host), the one and only Carlito! And as big as that headliner is, the other man is an even bigger member of the wrestling panthon... he's a former WWE superstar and a current TNA superstar, he's held every major championship in both WWE and TNA, and he's pro wrestling's only Olympic gold medalist... yes, we're talking about the legendary Kurt Angle, and yes it's true that he's making his first ever appearance for NWS on May 6th in Manville. And there's even more... a member another famous pro wrestling family, Smith Hart (the oldest brother of former WWE legends Bret Hart and the late Owen Hart), will be making a special guest appearance in Manville. In addition, NWS Cruiserweight Champion Spyral will defend his title against high-flying Chikara Wrestling star Frightmare, and NWS Tag-Team Champions The Jersey Shore Jocks (Mike Dennis & Chris D'Andrea) will defend their titles against the duo of "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie & "High Definition" Chris Steeler. There will also be a Lumberjack Match, a tag-team grudge match, and much more. Tickets are only $20 for adults and $18 for kids and seniors.
Saturday night May 7th, NWS makes its annual appearance at North Middetown, NJ's St. Catherine's Church Gym (5 Shore Acres Avenue, just off Route 36 in the North Middletown section of Middletown, NJ), with a 7:35pm bell time.
And if you couldn't make it to Manville the night before (or even if you could, and just want to see them again), former WWE legends Carlito and Kurt Angle, as well as Hart family member Smith Hart, will treat the Bayshore area fans by making just one more appearance for NWS. In addition, all the NWS gold will be on the line. NWS Heavyweight Champion "Rampage" Rogers will defend his title against "Outlaw" Shane O'Brien, Cruiserweight Champion Spyral will defend his title against northeast star Johnny Knockout, and NWS Tag-Team Champions The Jersey Shore Jocks (Mike Dennis & Chris D'Andrea) will defend their titles against Jumping Joey Janela & his partner "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie. Plus much more! Tickets are only $20 for ringside seats and $18 for bleacher seats.
Saturday night May 14th, NWS returns to the Union County area at the Kenilworth, NJ Veterans Center (33 South 21st Street, just off The Boulevard, minutes from The Parkway) with a 7:35pm bell time.
And this hot night will feature a pair of TV wrestling legends donning the tights. First off will be a former WWE and ECW hardcore icon, who has been throught every conceivable extreme match, he's the one and only Tommy Dreamer, and he will treat the Union County fans to his own brand of mat action that night. And sharing the top billing will be a former WWE star and the self-professed "Greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time", the hip-singing guitar-smashing Honky-Tonk Man, and after too long of an absence he makes his return to NWS in Kenilworth that night. There will also be a Lumberjack Match that night between local rivals "Tough" Tony Scorace and Steve "The Gipper" Gipke, and much more! Tickets are only $19 for adults and $17 for kids and seniors.
Tickets for all upcoming shows are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704.
All major charge cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.
