National Wrestling Superstars made their first ever appearance in South Amboy, NJ on Friday night March 25th at the South Amboy Middle & High School Gym, and the area fans came out in droves to welcome NWS, as a better-than-expected, and highly energetic, Friday night crowd piled into the gym.
- In the opening contest NWS Cruiserweight Champion Spyral retained his title in a Triple-Threat Match against former champions "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie and Jumping Joey Janela. At first, Smoothie and Janela tried to work together to knock off the champion, but a few miscues (as well as their egos) soon had them fighting each other as well as Spyral. After flying all around the ring, the fight spilled to the outside with all three brawling with chairs and the ring steps. As the referee's count approached ten, Spyral made it back into the ring while Smoothie and Janela were still fighting on the outside. The referee reached ten, called for the bell, and awarded the match to Spyral.
- Before the next match, South Amboy teachers Miss Peterson & Mr. Parks came to the ring, dressed as Hulk Hogan & Hillbilly Jim respectively. They welcomed the fans, but their appearance was interrupted by former ECW & TNA star Julio Dinero and his manager Miss Michelle, who spent several minutes taunting them and the fans, all the while bragging that his main event opponent, former WWE superstar Shelton Benjamin, hadn't even shown up yet and was probably too scared to even step foot in the ring with him.
- In the second match, The Famous TV Wrestling Clown (with Miss Peterson & Mr. Parks in his corner) defeated ROH star Judas Young. Judas was befuddled by The Clown's unorthodox style throughout the entire match. Towards the end Judas had The Clown on the ropes with a flurry of offense, but after The Clown reversed a lariat attempt into a powerslam, he delivered a Whoopie Cushion on Judas from the top rope and got the 1-2-3.
- In an International Tag-Team Match, The Nigerian Nightmares (La-Fu & Ra-Fu, with Voodoo Queen Bella) defeated The Candian Canucks (J.T. Highlander & Chris Banks). Although Highlander and Banks put up a good show, and even kept The Nightmares grounded at times, at 900+ pounds the size advantage was just too great, and in the end, while Ra-Fu was pounding on Highlander from the outside, La-Fu delivered an amazing 400-pound crushing moonsault onto Banks from the top rope, getting the easy 1-2-3. The Nightmares & Bella celebrated with a Nigerian Conga Line dance around the ring.
- As the show broke for intermission, the fans were greeted by former WWE superstar "The Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin.
- NWS Heavyweight Champion "Rampage" Rogers (with manager Miss Michelle) retained his title in a return match against former champion Ray Ray Marz. The former champion was clearly determined to make the most of this final opportunity to regain his belt, but Rogers' size and strength advantage kept the match even and competitive. Towards the end, Marz fought out of a Camel Clutch hold, and leveled Rogers with a flurry of leg kicks, ending with his patented running knee to the head. Marz went up to the top rope to finish off Rogers, but Miss Michelle jumped onto the apron to disract the referee as Julio Dinero jumped up on the apron and knocked Marz off the top rope. Julio then planted Marz into the mat with a Jalapeno Popper, and rolled Rogers on top of him. The referee turned around and counted 1-2-3 for Rogers, declaring him the winner and still champion. Julio and Rogers continued to attack Marz two-on-one until Shelton Benjamin ran out from the back and chased Julio and Rogers away.
- NWS Tag-Team Champions The Jersey Shore Jocks (Mike Dennis & Chris D'Andrea, with Miss Peterson & Mr. Parks in their corner) retained their titles in a rematch against "Corrupted" Corey Havoc & "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans. Before the match, The Jocks were taunting Havoc with a photograph of them planting him in a garbage can during a match a few weeks earlier. The match quickly broke down into an all-out brawl inside the ring, then outside. At one point, D'Andrea thrilled the crowd with a flying splash off the top of a section of unused bleacher seats onto Havoc and Oceans. It was clear that Oceans and Havoc's minds were not on the same page that night, and after Oceans' and Havoc's double superplax attempt on Dennis was foiled by D'Andrea and turned into a Tower Of Doom on both of them, Oceans left the ring in frustration, leaving Havoc to fall victim to a Jackhammer from D'Andrea and a flying splash from Dennis and got pinned 1-2-3. After the match, Oceans seized the microphone and said he was tired of being in tag-team matches with unreliable partners like Havoc, and wanted to be recognized as a singles wrestler, and demanded such from Commissioner Moore. The Commissioner was only too happy to oblige, and announced that Oceans would return to singles action in April in Edison, NJ against former WWE star Eugene.
- In the Main Event, former WWE star "The Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin defeated former ECW & TNA star Julio Dinero (with manager Miss Michelle). Shelton's mat wrestling skills and intensity had Julio reeling early in the match, but eventually caught Shelton and the two had a thrilling back and forth match that had the fans on the edge of their seats cheering. Towards the end Shelton fought his way out of a half-nelson sleeperhold and reversed a suplex attempt into a neckbreaker. After the two traded endless punches with the fans cheering them on, Shelton had Julio on the ropes after a flurry of clotheslines and a running powerslam. But as he went for a powerbomb, Miss Michelle leaped onto the ring apron. As Shelton went over to chase her off, Julio charged at Shelton, hoping to level him from behind. But Shelton heard him coming and ducked, and Julio collided with Miss Michelle instead. Shelton then hit a huge enziguri kick on Julio, then planted him into the mat with his signature Paydirt move, and got the 1-2-3 pin.
