I attended the Wizard World Comic Con at the Miami Airport Convention Center this past Saturday. Kevin Nash, Lillian Garcia, Torrie Wilson, and Angela Fong were all scheduled to be at the event on both Saturday and Sunday.
I was really looking forward to meeting Nash again, since I'm a huge NWO fan. This was my 3rd time meeting Nash and each time, he's been really cool and mellow. I had him sign some 8x10's along with my WWE Classic Superstars Outsiders 2-Pack Figure Set. I asked him about Scott Hall and he said that Scott is doing well and has stopped drinking.
Following my autograph session, Nash, along with Lillian Garcia and Angela Fong, participated in a 30-minute Q&A session with fans. They each talked about some of their most memorable moments in their wrestling careers. According to Nash, Shawn Michaels was pretty much untouchable in terms of his technical wrestling ability. Nash also said that his 1995 Survivor Series match with Bret Hart was one of his all-time favorite matches. One fan asked Nash who he respected/disliked on the current WWE roster. Aside from about 5 wrestlers, Nash said that he doesn't really know any of the current wrestlers on a personal level. However, he indicated that he would be happy to put over the likes of John Cena and Edge if asked to do so in a match.
Overall, the experience was pretty enjoyable (Although, I was kind of hoping that Scott Hall would make a surprise appearance since he still lives in the Florida area). I've attached a photo of Nash and I, along with a snapshot of him during the Q&A session. Thanks Bob and keep up the good work!
