Another Memory of Georgie I just received and wanted to share with everyone.
Hi Bob,
As a kid growing up a wrestling fan in the 50's and 60's, I met Georgie at a wrestling show in Brooklyn when I was 10 years old. I was very impressed that she knew all the wrestlers personally. I subscribbed to the Chatterbox some 30 years later and realized she was the person I met in Brooklyn. I wrote many articles for her and finally through her contacts trained at Gino Caruso's ECPW school which will celebrate it's 20th year in the wrestling business next month. I still work very closely with Gino promoting family friendly wrestling as we knew it back then. I managed for many years as Bobby Davis was my hero growing up. One night I got a phone call from Bobby Davis, the greatest wrestling manager of all time. We chatted for a good half hour. To me that was better than talking to the President of The United States. Georgie made that conversation happen. She was a remarkable woman.
