CONTROVERSIAL FOOTAGE OF KRIMSON & KIRST DISCUSSING RAVEN NOW ONLINE

In recent weeks, a stir has been raised throughout the PWO offices in response to the latest piece of video footage sent to us by “The Embodiment of Evil” Krimson in his continued quest to spread pain and misery throughout PWO, and professional wrestling in general. Along with his demonic disciple, Kirst, the former Eric Ryan, the footage depicts both men discussing a “father figure” who is serving as a “guiding light” for them in their mission. After some very unsettling allegory from Kirst, attentions turned to Krimson, who burned a photo of former TNA, WWE, WCW and ECW star Raven as a symbolic representation of the aforementioned guiding light.

You can see the footage for yourself on PWO’s official YouTube account at the following link. Due to some dialogue which some may find sensitive or offensive, viewer discretion is advised  - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wSLDu5w9g4

How will having Raven involved with Krimson and Kirst change the dynamic of this macabre group and of PWO in general? Raven is notorious for having one of the most evil and sadistic minds this business has ever seen, and he himself has studied under such diabolical minds as Kevin Sullivan and Jake Roberts. Is he helping to direct Krimson in his quest? Has Krimson been taking advice from Raven this entire time? Is Raven a willing participant or has he two been targeted and transformed, much the way Krimson did with Eric Ryan to create Kirst? So many questions have been raised by this one piece of footage, but no answers are currently available.

However, as we learned this past week on PWO TV, Raven will join Krimson & Kirst in-ring for the very first time on Sunday afternoon, February 20 at 3:00 pm in Streetsboro, OH at the Arena Sports & Entertainment Complex, 1543 Streetsboro Plaza, for “PWO Pressure Rising: Beware of the Krimson Mask”. This trio will be opposed by the newly re-energized “One Man Militia” and Streetsboro native Matthew Justice, PWO’s newest signing Jason Gory, and the former tag team partner of Kirst, Corey Winters. These three may not have much in common on the surface, but all three want to make a statement, make an impact, and target the most intimidating group in PWO today. Can Matthew Justice come up big in his hometown? If so, how will he be able to combat the newest threat of Raven? How will either of these teams gel together? Find out live in Streetsboro on Sunday afternoon, February 20! Reserve your tickets today - http://www.pwowrestling.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=22&osCsid=i6pej0359gcalo6jc5phbuqul3

Here are the EVOVLE 2010 Awards as voted on by the fans:

Please Note that "EVOLVE 6: Aries vs. Taylor" was not included since the DVD wasn't released in 2010.

You don't have to wait for sales at EVOLVE. We always have the 2 Pack DVD Offer available in the EVOLVEwrestling.com Shop or by calling 267-519-9744. This means you can get any two EVOLVE DVDs for just $25!!! It includes all our released titles including everything mentioned in these awards.

Best Card:

Winner: "EVOLVE 5: Danielson vs. Sawa" - 31%
Runner Up: "EVOLVE 1: Ibushi vs. Richards" - 27%

"EVOLVE 4: Danielson vs. Fish" came only 14 votes short of passing E1. EVOLVE promoted E5 as being its first "supercard" and the results prove that you agree. Great action from top-to-bottom with an excellent semi-main and main event combo made this EVOLVE's card of 2010.

Match Of The Year:

Winner: Bryan Danielson vs. Sawa from EVOLVE 5 - 24%
Runner Up: Kota Ibushi vs. Davey Richards from EVOLVE 1 - 22%

It's no surprise that the top two best cards also featured the top two main events. This was a very close race between a pair of excellent, must see bouts. Bryan Danielson vs. Bobby Fish (E4), Munenori Sawa vs. TJP (E1), Claudio Castagnoli vs. Chuck Taylor (E3) and Chris Hero vs. Ikuto Hidaka (E2) all were in the running until the final few days.

EVOLVE MVP:

Winner: Chuck Taylor - 38%
Runner Up: Bobby Fish - 21%

Taylor won by the largest margin in any category. He started in a "qualifying match" and ended the year in the main event. It is hard to argue with the choice of the fans here. Jimmy Jacobs and Bryan Danielson were the only others that received more than 10% of the vote.

Breakout Star:

Winner: Chuck Taylor - 22%
Runner Up: Johnny Gargano - 21%

It's a banner year for Taylor who won both MVP and Breakout Star. It might be a long time before this happens again. Larry Dallas has to be a happy man. Only five votes separated the two fighters Dallas is sponsoring. Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, Ricochet and Sami Callihan, in that order, were also competitive in the voting.

Breakout Match:

Winner: Munenori Sawa vs. TJP  from EVOLVE 1 - 24%
Runner Up: Ricochet vs. Kyle O'Reilly from EVOLVE 5 - 21%

Sawa was new to the United States and TJP was a young veteran still looking to fulfill his potential. The result was a sensational, cutting-edge bout that instantly elevated both competitors. Other top finishers included Chuck Taylor vs. Claudio Castagnoli (E3), Sami Callihan vs. Arik Cannon (E4), Brodie Lee vs. Jon Moxley (E4) and TJP vs. Kyle O'Reilly (E4).

Thank you to everyone that voted. We greatly appreciate your support in 2010. We look forward to growing wrestling's newest brand even more in 2011. Who will be the breakout star of 2011? What will be the 2011 match of the year? Who will win MVP in 2011? Keep watching and find out.
