Interview highlights courtesy of The Mayhem's official correspondent, Paterson from New Jersey:
His personal goals he hopes to achieve & what he wishes to accomplish by being a part of the Dragon Gate USA roster: "I don't really need anybody, and I don't need Akibono. Basically, my goal is to make an impact, to let the people know worldwide what I'm all about, and if have to do that by kicking & punching people in the face repeatedly, then I will do that."
Why he has not given up pursuing his dream in the world of professional wrestling: "I decided to stick with it because I went out when I was not making any money and basically breaking my body for little to nothing. If I went out that way, I probably would not have be able to live with myself on a daily basis. I needed to do more. I needed to do something that satisfied me. Ring of Honor kind of wetted my appetite a little bit, and now Dragon Gate is fulfilling that for me. There's no way I could've gone out the way I was going, and I'm not saying it's a terrible thing, but for me to wake up every morning, and to look at myself, and know that I could do more, there's no way I could've not done it."
Getting the opportunity to team up with Akebono at DGUSA's iPPV debut on GoFightLive.tv this Friday night ("Bushido: Code of the Warrior"), followed by the challenge of facing the Japanese legend the very next night at DGUSA's "Freedom Fight 2010" PPV taping: "I don't know if this is some kind of test from the Japanese office to see how I would react to a bigger opponent, but I have no choice but to leave it all on the line. I can't wake up on Sunday morning and say 'Wow, I should have done this, I should have done that.' I have to do it, and so Akibono has to expect that I'm gonna come and bring the fight no matter what he hits me with. Whether I'm left lying or not, I'm gonna bring the fight, and he should expect that I'm aiming for his face with fists & boots, and he better be ready for a fight."
What fans can expect when Austin Aries officially breaks his silence in his DGUSA debut & why he feels that wrestling Aries would be "quit the mark to make" for him in Dragon Gate USA: "I don't know. I couldn't tell you what Austin is going to say, but I think it will be very, very interesting if I'm right. He's a very unpredictable man, and when I debuted in Ring of Honor in 2008, I helped Jimmy Jacobs defeat Austin Aries, so that was my debut in Ring of Honor. For it to come full circle, and for him to come to Dragon Gate USA, I would love the opportunity to wrestle him. I think wrestling him & beating him would be quite the mark to make in Dragon Gate USA. But for what he's going to say, I don't know. It'll be very interesting."
Much more is included in Brodie's debut on Monday Night Mayhem, including how his career has transitioned over the years from his start in the Buffalo area to where he stands today in Dragon Gate USA, how he has mentally & physically prepared for Akebono, his close friendship with Colin Delaney (and why he believes that Colin's WWE career in ECW was quite memorable, but how it almost never happened), plus much more! THQ's Bryan Williams Discusses The Release Of WWE's SmackDown vs. RAW 2011, The Changes & Improvements From Last Year's Game (Highlighted By The All-New "WWE Universe" & "Road to WrestleMania" Modes), The Feedback Received From WWE Superstars Thus Far, Which Match Was Focused On The Most (From A Game Designer's Perspective), Taking The Royal Rumble Online For the First Time Ever, & Which Potential Additions Could Be Made As Part Of The Forthcoming DLC Release Later This Fall
Bryan joined The Big Mosh & "The Chairman of the Board" Todd Vincent for his yearly pilgrimage to "Your Home of Wrestling Radio" to discuss the release of THQ's WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2011. His return to Monday Night Mayhem is now available in Windows Streaming Media or via the official MNM Podcast on iTunes:

THQ's Bryan Williams/Monday Night Mayhem Interview (MNM Podcast on iTunes): www.mondaynightmayhemarchives.com/oct10/102510.mp3
Interview highlights courtesy of The Mayhem's official correspondent, Paterson from New Jersey:
The changes & improvements that THQ made from last year's game (SmackDown vs. RAW 2010) to this year's game (SmackDown vs. RAW 2011) & why the Hell in a Cell Match, from a game designer's perspective, was focused on the most: "Where do you start? We've added so much new content to 2011, which is a major feat, because SmackDown vs. RAW 2010 had a wealth of content as well. We added dynamic physics into the game for the first time and added it to all the objects in the game: tables, chairs, & all the objects that reside under the wrestling ring. It makes all the matches, like TLC or Chairs Match, or any match involving weapons that much more lifelike & representative of what you see on Pay-Per-View or weekly television. We also revamped the Hell in the Cell Match. Fans have been asking us for years to update that experience and for good reason. It was the match that needed the most attention. We enlarged the cell and made it more of the scope of the structure."
Taking the Royal Rumble Match online for the first time ever: "We redid the Royal Rumble match in 2010, and this year we brought it online. You could have up to 12 human players in the match, and I gotta tell you, it's fun as hell. Even if you get eliminated, you'll still be able to control a Superstar coming in from the 30, so you never have that feeling like you're just watching the match and waiting to play."
The feedback THQ has received from SmackDown vs. RAW 2011 thus far from the WWE superstars & which ones in particular will go as far to play the game as themselves: "Yes, they play as themselves. That's why they get so upset when their attributes are on the lower side of things. There's a couple of guys that I know for a fact play the game, Kofi Kingston plays the game a bit, Dolph Ziggler plays the game, Evan Bourne plays it. Those are the guys I know for a fact plays the game, and Kofi is pretty good at it."
Which potential additions could be made as part of the DLC (downloadable content) for SmackDown vs. RAW 2011, in addition to what's being released later this fall & which one superstar he would love to see sooner vs. later into the game itself: "I can't really say. There has been some talks about maybe doing another one, but a decision hasn't been made one way or another. I think what we're gonna do is take a wait & see approach and see how the first couple of packs do, and if there's success, and we get a lot of people downloading the DLC's, I think that will definitely help & urge us to do a fourth pack. I would like to do another so we could get Daniel Bryan in the game, but all these decisions are not mine to make. I could only voice my decisions and hope & pray."
Much more is included in Bryan's highly-anticipated Mayhem return, including his thoughts on the game's all-new "WWE Universe" mode, what fans can expect in this year's "Road to WrestleMania" mode, the creation upgrades from SmackDown vs. RAW 2010, plus much more!
