Report from JERRY LAWLER/CHRISTY HEMME Autograph Signing at Royal Collectibles.
What a great time. Jeff Sheridan went with me and the line was a small one since we got there early. Jeff stayed outside on line and I went in to do some shopping. Picked up some Yankee's memorabilia, a couple of figures and some promo pictures. I went back outside and the line was now past the side doors of the store and halfway down the block in front of the houses. No tickets were given out yet, so I went back in to browse and in walks Jerry "The King" Lawler.
I got an autograph in my book and told him what a class act he is. I told him to get rid of Michael Cole, he said Cole tells him nobody likes him, so I told Lawler he was right, nobody does. I told him they air his stuff on ESPN Classics, he said he gets no residuals from that.
On my way out Christy Hemme walks in and she is gorgeous. Now they were giving out tickets so I went back on line and the line moved incredibly fast and in an orderly fashion. No pushing or shoving and no jumping the line.
Now I'm inside where Christy was, I stole a kiss and got her autograph on a TNA 8 x 10. Fans knew her birthday was coming up and she had several bouquets of flowers on her table.
We go now to Jerry Lawler, he was great, nice guy, talked to everybody. I bought an 8 x 10 from home and Lawler asked where I got it. Both stars were very approachable, personable and just having a great time.
Hats off to Chuck & Mike, the girls in there & everybody that helped out making it a truly memorable day.
