PWO Title: Johnny Gargano defends against M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross

Johnny Gargano had set out to right all his prior wrongs upon winning the PWO Title last year, including promising a title shot to former PWO Champion and former rival “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross. However, when challengers began multiplying at a rapid pace to the point where over one dozen men were chasing Gargano for a PWO Title shot, Matt Cross seemed lost in the proverbial shuffle. Attempts to officially become #1 contender always saw Matt become the victim of gang attacks, rule-breaking, or simply bad timing. Matt figured he had to do something to get the attention back onto him so he went to drastic means - masterminding several violent backstage attacks on all of the other PWO Title contenders who had received what M-Dogg felt to be “his” title shot. Not only did Matt attack them all in secrecy, he blamed the assaults on Gargano! After having his reputation tarnished once again and being thrown out of the PWO locker room, fan-documented evidence confirmed that Gargano was the innocent man and it was M-Dogg with blood on his hands! Now, each man converges in the main event of PWO Wrestlelution 3! Gargano is looking to avenge his tarnished reputation and attempted sabotage, while Matt Cross is looking to avenge months of being overlooked and cast aside for the title he was never fairly beaten for.
This is a MUST SEE match with a conclusion that will SHOCK you, and portions of it WILL be seen this Sunday night on PWO TV!
Elimination Rules: Ballz/Ryan/Winters vs. Bender/Diamante/Montana
Ernie Ballz & Brian Bender reigned atop PWO as The Clash for a number of months before an injury placed Ernie on the shelf. That, coupled with the loss of the PWO Tag Team Titles, caused the duo to self-destruct, with each claiming they themselves were the man that carried the team to prominence. Ballz stresses his mental acumen took them to the top, while Bender cites his athletic prowess for being able to carry out those plans. Since the demise of The Clash, Ballz has been an advisor to Eric Ryan & Corey Winters, but seems more interested in re-living his own successes than creating new ones with his team. Meanwhile, Bender has recruited the very team that put Ernie Ballz on the shelf to begin with - The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew. With elimination rules in effect, we finally answer the question who can truly better lead a tag team?
