NWS Internet News Update For Week Of 6/7
NWS Wraps Up Busy Spring Season With *FOUR* WWE TV Legends This Friday In Stirling, NJ
Hello NWS fans! This is your weekly update on what's happened, what is happening now, and what is going to happen soon in the nation's leading family-friendly pro wrestling promotion, National Wrestling Superstars.
Upcoming Shows This Weekend
After a blistering pace of 30+ shows already this year (15 of them in the previous two months), NWS will wrap up its busy Spring season this coming Friday night June 11th, when they debut at the Long Hill Township Community Center (264 Warren Avenue in Stirling, NJ, at Valley Road, minutes from I-78), with a 7:45pm bell time.
And NWS has certainly stacked the proverbial deck for this big show, with not just one, or two, or even three... but *FOUR* former WWE TV superstars.
First off, she was the original diva of the WWE, and after a fifteen-plus year career she still looks as lovely as the day she started, the beautiful Sunny will grace the ring.
And secondly, call him a troublemaker, call him the ultimate insult comedian, but whatever you do, just don't call him "Pinky"... he's the bad boy Salvatore Sincere, and he'll see ring action in Stirling.
And the third headliner on our list won't be wrestling, but he'll be at ringside and he'll certainly still be dangerous. He's a former World Heavyweight Champion and hall-of-famer, the one and only Iron Sheik.
And rounding out our list of headliners is a recent WWE TV star making his NWS debut. With his seductive smile, a towel around his waist, and a big "Hello, ladies!", it's "The Big Val-bowski" himself, Val Venis.
In addition, a new tag-team has burst onto the scene in NWS, The Lone Rangers (former WWE developmental star Pat Buck & Jay Silva), and for their first ever match in NWS, they will jump right into the fire as they take on a pair of ring veterans in "The Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny Demanto and the 2010 J-Cup Tournament winner John "Tap-Out" Walters. Can Pat and Jay survive the big test, or will the veterans John and Danny prevail? Also in action will be NWS Heavyweight Champion "Corrupted" Corey Havoc, Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans, and Cruiserweight Champion Jumping Joey Janela, plus The Jock Mafia (Mike Dennis & Chris D'Andrea), "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie, "Too Hot" Steve Scott, a guest manager who we only know as Goop, and much more, including none other than Mayor Emeritus The Honorable Al Licata as a guest ring announcer.
Tickets are only $20 and all seats will be right up at ringside and are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704. All major charge cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.
The NWS wrestlers and management will be taking a much-deserved summer break after the June 11 show, and will return to action in August with four huge shows already scheduled.
