Just got back from the Fan Fest today. I had a great time, but left after only about an hour, as I met everyone who I came to see. The show was slightly disorganized, as there was no mention beforehand that the superticket guests would be signing in 'blocks.' They were also spaced out in different areas unlike many of the other conventions who keep them grouped together. A few of my friends were not too happy about this, because they had to sit around all day waiting for 1 or 2 people, and there is not much of anything to do in a school. There wasn't even a table set up for hot dogs or snacks! The only star I wanted to meet in that lineup was The Godfather. He was extremely friendly, and talked a lot about his Papa Shango days.

The rest were vendor guests that I met:
Dick Kroll: Awesome guy!
Daivari: Friendly as always, priced reasonably.
Rikishi: Great guy, personable, seemed to be having a good time.
Greg Valentine: Greg was his usual boring self. Looked like he couldn't care less.
Brutus Beefcake: Great and upbeat as usual.
Matt Borne: Matt showed up wearing the Joker's makeup from the Dark Knight which made for a great photo-op. Matt was friendly and took an interest in the fans.
Angelina Love: She was great, her 'handlers' were a different story. They were very unprofessional and were offering people to take pictures of Angelina, then charging them $5 after the fact, with no mention of this fee beforehand. A few convention goers I spoke with were very annoyed by this.

Overall, the show was good. It was definitely not a top of the line convention like LOTR or Wrestling Reunion, but it was alright. On a side note, the vendors who had Valentine, Beefcake, Doink, etc offered photos that made Fan Slam's pictures look like official promo photos! Then on top of the crappy pictures, they were charging $5.00 for them! I don't mind paying extra for photos at shows like LOTR or WR because they always offer high quality, matte-gloss 8x10s, but this was ridiculous. Also, some "promoters," and I use that term loosely, should really take a few math and communication classes. It's not that hard to make change and then tell the other guy at the table that the customer already paid for a photo, photo-op, combo, whatever, rather than having to go back and forth. It speeds things up!
