JAKE ROBERTS HEADLINES FOR ASWA FUNDRAISER

The All Star Wrestling Alliance and The Thornton Family present GLORY QUEST "Return of the Snake" on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the National Guard Armory in Lexington, NC. This is a benefit fundraiser to assist the Thornton family with medical expenses for their 5 year old daughter Kate Thornton. Every dollar that comes through the door goes to the Thornton family.
Kate was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia on August 29 of 2008 at the age of 3. She is now 5 and relapsed on Feb 1 2010. She continues her fight having just received an experimental chemo treatment over that past week that we pray will put the cancer into remission so that she can be transported to Duke for a bone marrow transplant. She is our little hero and because of her cancer, she has saved hundreds of lives by virtue of the copious amounts of blood that she has gathered through her sponsorship with the Red Cross; over 1500 pints at this point.
The event will feature the return to North Carolina of JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS as he battles EWA Champion "Mr #1" George South.
ASWA Champion Adam Awesome defends the title against "The 1st" Ric Converse.
There will be seven matches in all on the card.
