NWS Returns To Bloomfield With Annual Mega Show This Sat. 2/20 With Former WWE & ECW Star Nunzio, The Original WWE Diva Sunny, WWE TV Legend "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan & More

National Wrestling Superstars, the Northeast's busiest and most popular pro wrestling promotion, makes its annual appearance at the Bloomfield, NJ High School Gym (160 Broad Street, minutes from The Parkway) this coming Saturday night February 20th at 7:45pm, for its annual supershow.

 

And if you thought last year's show was thrilling, and would be impossible to top, just wait until you hear what the wrestling gods have in store for the fans this year.

 

Last year, the fans were thrilled by a steel cage main event match pitting Bloomfield area fan-favorite Vicious Vinny against his arch-rival Danny Demanto. Well, what a difference a year makes... Vinny has turned his back on the fans that cheered him on all those years, and has now allied himself with the same Danny Demanto, the two of them calling themselves The Cold-Hearted Playas. And to ensure their success, Vinny and Danny have hired as their manager none other than the original diva of the WWE herself, and a successful manager as well, the lovely and devious Sunny, who will be in their corner in Bloomfield as they make their first area appearance since teaming up.

 

But their debut will by no means be an easy one, as standing in the opposite corner will be none other than former WWE and ECW superstar James Maritato (a.k.a Nunzio), and his partner, regional standout and all-around tough guy Dan Maff, who have vowed to avenge Vinny's betrayal of the Bloomfield area fans and stop the Cold-Hearted Playas just plain cold in their tracks.

But many more thrills await the fans in Bloomfield. Another WWE TV legend, the two-by-four swinging flag-waving American patriot "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, will be in the ring mowing down another hapless opponent. The 800+ pound undefeated pair of behemoth monsters known as The Nigerian Nightmares will make their first ever Bloomfield appearance, looking for fresh meat (and if you have seen their post-match dining habits, you know we mean that literally). Also on bill will be Bloomfield's first ever Tables-Ladders-and-Chairs Match, featuring three daredevil veterans in NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans, Phildelphia warrior Devon Moore, and NWS Tag-Team Champion Corvis Fear, in a bout that will have everyone on the edge of their seats and gasping for breath.

 

But talk around town is also about the ten-man Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royal, with participants from the Bloomfield Police Department, Fire Department, and UNICO themselves. This match should definitely be full of belly laughs, guffaws, and all-out zaniness.

 

Tickets are locked in at last year's prices of only $20 for bleacher seats and $25 for golden ringside seats, and are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704.
