Just wanted to say I’ve been a long time fan of your site and the info you have on your site, keep up the AWESOME job!

Secondly before I rip into the Rey signing in Chicago let me say that I attended the Ted Dibiase signing at FYE in Chicago earlier this month and Ted was AWESOME! He’s a great guy and will sign and pose for a picture.  He signed 3 of my items along w my Marine 2 DVD. 

I also attended the Rey Mysterio signing at Kmart in Chicago yesterday and what a disaster.  I got there a tad before 8 which is when the store opened.  There was about 50 plus people in line waiting to get inside and the management was stating that if you purchased Rey’s new book or $35 worth of WWE merchandise then you’ll receive a green wrist band which will guarantee you 1 autograph.  After getting my wristband I found the store manager and asked him specifically if there will be any problems when I come back at 1 to get my autograph and he said no problem at all because they were only letting people w wristbands in line and those people are the only ones who  will meet Rey. 

Well, I attended the DDP signing at noon, (by the way DDP was AWESOME) and jetted to Kmart w my wristband armed.  Got there around 2 thinking ok im gona have to wait a lil to see him.  There must have been 500 plus people in line, few with wristbands.  I found the store manager again and asked him why isn’t there a separate line for people with wristbands and people without wristbands and he said that there wasn’t any control and that people w 1 wristbands brought their friends and familys along and  they couldn’t do anything about it.  He also told me Rey was about 30 mins late but informed him that Rey told him that he wasn’t leaving till everyone had an autograph.  So after about an hour in line it was about a quarter after 3 and Rey decided he had enough and wanted to leave then all hell broke lose.  Everyone rushed him and security had to start getting rough with people pushing them down and pushing all the little kids just so rey could leave.   VERY POORLY DONE BY KMART! They should have stuck to their word originally and made anyone who didn’t have a wristband get out of line or if one child had one then ONLY 1 parent be in line with them.  I recommend that anyone who attends one of those Rey/Kmart signings to get there when the store opens and don’t leave till the wrestler(s) get there.  Very poor performance by Kmart and by Rey.  On a side note, once Rey left about 200 people rushed to the return line to return all the items they just purchased just to get the wristband, wait a go Kmart, good job pleasing the ones who actually bought your merchandise just to get a autograph, or I mean just to get shafted…Needless to say, Rey got booed hardcore by myself and my 2 friends when we saw them at the house show in Hammond IN..
