…..

This was sent to me by Walt Wolansky:
I just finished watching it on TV.  There was an insert with a large picture of Bruno and the printed quote "The nudity, the vulgarity, and profanity bother me..." adjacent to the photo.  The picture did not have Bruno's name.  All that the David Muir (the newscaster) said prior to the clip was "But a former wrestler says he wouldn't vote for her and says 'The nudity, the vulgarity, and the profanity bothers me..."  Muir did not mention Bruno's name, either.

* * * * * *

I also watched the broadcast.  They showed Linda being slapped by her daughter Stephanie, also getting a tombstone pile driver from Kane, and the kicking of Jim Ross, you know where.

They said that Joanie Laurer and Bruno Sammartino criticized Linda McMahon and her campaign.  I truly love these News shows, as they have no clue what they are talking about.

Bruno and Joanie have been critical in the past about the WWE product.  But never has Bruno been critical of Linda's campaign, even though he has been asked for comments from many News outlets.

After the videos they asked Linda what she thought of herself being involved in  such storylines.  She compared herself to Arnold Schwazenegger, and said that the voters can separate the candidates from their screen roles.

She said she would be willing to spend whatever it takes to win, saying $50 million wasn’t out of the question – because she is a political unknown.  I guess Mrs. McMahon really wants this bad.

She has no plans to campaign with her husband, because he has his hands full running the company.

Lately, I have been hearing she really has a hard road ahead of her.  Dobb retired because he knew he wouldn't win but that Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal (D) would have a better chance.  Blumenthal is one of the most popular politicians in the state and his interest in running has been a widely known ambition for years. Blumenthal originally expressed interest in running against Sen. Joe Lieberman.  So this should be a tough race to the finish and a long road ahead.
