Got back from the FYE Philly Signing yesterday and it was pretty good. First and foremost, Ted Dibiase is an A+ CLASS ACT!!!! He seemed genuinely happy to see all his fans and he had a pretty damn good turnout. I estimate about 150-175 for this signing. Ted pretty much signed anything you asked for.
The bad part was FYE again. It's the 3rd time I have been to one of their signings and their management is just plain unaccomadating. They advertise that the first 300 fans that purchase Marine 2 can get whatever they want signed. Then when you get there there is a new rule added, ONLY THE DVD MAY BE SIGNED NO ADDITIONAL OUTSIDE ITEMS. Most people paid zero attention to this. And the first 70 people were able to get additonal items signed. But the manager was becoming irrate and even told the young lady at the bottom of the stairs to tell everyone 1 item and she did not want to see any one asking for anymore. I am pretty sure everyone ignored her anyway, but she just makes everything very uncomfortable. The signing was between 6-8pm. I am guessing by 7:30pm the line was emptied out and Ted sat twiddling his thumbs. That FYE is poorly managed and the service is very unfriendly.
