Statement regarding Jimmy Snuka not appearing at Saturday's event
Just a quick note to apologise to Jimmy and Carole Snuka as our press release advising Jimmy would not attend this weekend's event may have made it appear as though Jimmy had cancelled... I wanted to let the wrestling news boards and wrestling fans know that the reason Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka is not attending the January 9th event in Muncie, IN is no fault of Jimmy Snuka, Jimmy did not cancel... it was an unfortunate scheduling mishap and honestly by the time we recognized the problem the air ticket cost had tripled! Jimmy is a longtime friend to the EWF and we plan on bringing Jimmy in again soon. And Jake "the Snake" Roberts was not so much a replacement as he was already going to be brought in. I hate using the word replacement, that being said we hope you attend our show this Saturday to watch some great wrestling and meet Jake Roberts and hope you keep checking www.ewfarena.com to see when Superfly will be returning...
