"Too Cocky" Kevin Matthews, Plus Former ECW & WSU Women's Champion Angel Orsini vs. Former WWE Women's Champion Jazz, The Nigerian Nightmares, Former TNA Stars Roxxie LaVeaux & Angelina Love & SoCal Val And More
Pro wrestling fans in the Flemington, NJ area will get to take a break from their holiday shopping preparations and enjoy a night of classic mat action this Saturday night December 12th at 7:35pm as the nation's leading family-friendly pro wrestling promotion and fundraiser National Wrestling Superstars teams up with their sister promotion and leading all-female wrestling organization Women Superstars Uncensored for an all-star card.
This show will feature a plethora of current and former TV wrestling superstars, topped off by two huge main event matches.
Former WWE Hall of Famer and Intercontinental and Tag-Team Champion "El Matador" Tito Santana will face a former star from WWE's developmental training camp, "Too Cocky" Kevin Matthews. Last month in Basking Ridge, Matthews blind-sided Santana after his match and slapped his Full-Nelson "Matthews-Lock" hold on him. Matthews was anxious to prove that he belongs in the WWE, and figured the easiest way to do that was to try and take out a former superstar. But the feisty Santana was and still is never one to back down from a fight, and he demanded this one-on-one grudge match, and this time Matthews will have to meet him face-to-face in the ring.
And in the other half of the main event, WSU World Champion and Tag-Team Co-Champion "The Latina Sensation" Mercedes Martinez will be defending her World Title belt against none other than one of the biggest, meanest, and most dangerous ladies ever in pro wrestling, TNA Wrestling TV star Awesome Kong. Mercedes was originally scheduled to defend her title against WSU's #1 contender Rain (a.k.a former TNA Wrestling star Miss Payton Banks), who has been chasing Mercedes for nearly a year, and stabbing friends in the back in order to get a title shot. But at the last minute, Rain's international tour schedule was extended and conflicted with this Saturday's date, so Rain hired her old TNA friend Awesome Kong to take her place and take out Mercedes. Mercedes has held many wrestling titles over the years and defended them all over the world, and is regarded as one of the most talented lady wrestlers of all time, but this will no doubt be one of the biggest challenges she has ever faced.
But those two matches, alone worth the price of admission right there, are only the proverbial tip of the iceberg. NWS' undefeated 800+ pound tag-team The Nigerian Nightmares, who have literally flattened every opponent since their debut in April, will be looking for their next victims in Flemington on Saturday, and current NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans will be challenged by regional mat standout "Hurricane" John Walters.
And also on the bill on the ladies' side, former ECW Womens Champion and current WSU Tag-Team Co-Champion Angel Orsini takes on former WWE Women's Champion Jazz, WSU's "The Definition of Technician" Cindy Rogers will face the challenge of Nikki Roxx (a.k.a former TNA star Roxxie LaVeaux), and WSU Spirit Champion Brittney Savage & Jana will team up to face their arch-rivals Alicia & Latasha. There will also be appearances by former TNA stars Angelina Love and SoCal Val, and the Mistress of Ceremonies for the entire show will be WSU's lovely ring announcer Destiny.
Tickets are a definite holiday bargain for the entire family at only $18 for adults and $16 for kids and seniors, and are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704. All major credit cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.
