Hi Georgie,

 

Here are some pictures of the meet and greet with Bruno Sammartino at Carl's in Haverstown, PA.  It was an honor to meet Bruno again and ask him questions about the good old days of wrestling.  As always, Bruno took time with each person who wanted to meet him, answered all the questions asked, and accommodated requests for pictures.  It was pretty funny as one fan brought his dad who spoke Italian.  He and Bruno hit it off conversing in Italian for a while.  It seemed a given that the dad knew who Bruno was, but later he asked Bruno, "so you were a wrestler?"..  Bruno said, "what did you think I did, play piano?"  We all had a laugh over that.

Bruno even brought some pictures he had made for the event and signed them and gave them to Carl for his store. One of questions I asked Bruno was what wrestling moves contributed to cauliflowered ears.  He said it was primarily strong headlocks and forearm smashes.  Overall, it was a GREAT time and good turnout!
