Tax man stuns 'Stone Cold' wrestler

Beer-swilling, body-slamming "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, the retired World Wrestling Entertainment star turned action-flick thespian, owes more than $22,000 in California state taxes, records show.

The 44-year-old Texas native, who hosted a monster-truck bash at The Palace in 2007, became one of the wrestling world's biggest stars in the 1990s.

• The state of California filed a $22,024 lien against Austin on June 10, according to the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds office. The address listed on the lien is for his former home in Malibu, which he sold last year for $2.49 million.
