….
The Ted DiBiase signing at the Trumbull Mall went very smoothly. Upon arrival, "The Million Dollar Man", sat down at the table and started to drink a cup of coffee. As he was drinking, his manager, was setting up the table. At this point (around 11:20 AM) there was a line out the door of the store, and down the hall of the mall.
It was at 11:35 when the signing began, and Ted was very cool. He asked questions to the fans, answered questions that the fans had, and would get up out of his chair for anyone with difficulties. He had the "Million Dollar Belt" with him, and signed many replica belts, as well as, figures. He was shocked to see the 2 pack of he and his son Teddy Jr. and wanted to buy it, but it was the only one that the owner had.
He spoke of Teddy Jr., and his other son Bret, who is currently in the WWE Developmental system. he told a few people about the "Marine 2"...a new movie coming out that features his son Teddy. Sitting next to him is somebody he is mentoring. He is also a wrestler who lives in NY, and to whom DiBiase is mentoring. The camera crew that was present, was filming a documentary on Ted DiBiase, his manager, and the wrestler sitting next to him. Dickie Rodz was his name. DiBiase's manager who I see everywhere, mentioned that the documentary won't be finished till after WrestleMania 26.
Hope you enjoy the pictures. The folks at Athletes Corner were first class, and the signing went very well. I def. will be coming back to get all my figures signed.
