Hey Georgie! Big Chad comin' atcha with a great report!
I never really did mail order before. I was always rather skeptical with the results. It took me a while to become familiar in the fandom circles to be able to trust that I could do a mail order with certain people. Bob Orton was always a fave of mine, and when I found out he was doing a signing at Georges I was excited and planned a trip. Well, I got a new job and had to work last week, so unfortunately I had to miss out. Then I thought "Maybe try and mail order". So I email Marc asking if this would be possible and he said they had like 2 or so CS left. I called George and asked if he could put aside the Bob Orton and have him sign it. George was all for it and was able to get me the figure signed. I had very specific directions as well. When I get a classic figure signed I always prefer to have the legends make it out to myself and inscribe it some how, just to make it extra special. So I asked George if Mr. Orton could inscribe it "Ace" and he did. I also asked George if he would be kind enough to take a pic of The Cowboy signing it and he did. I originally thought it would be a rather far out request depending on how busy the signing could get. But, George delivered.
Last night I get a message from George telling me he had sent me the figure and I got it today! I wanted to share the image of my newest signed CS
I also want to thank George and Marc for helping me out. George is a class act and definatly appreciates his customers. This may have been my first but George and marc will find out(and my Visa Card will find out as well! lol!) that this is not my last mail order.
