On behalf of the entire staff of Legends of the Ring we want to take the time to thank everyone who helped make this event a success. Both myself and James are very proud of how the event went off. I feel it went very smooth with the overwhelming schedule we were handed that day. It seems everyone fails to realize how much work goes into running these things. We are happy that the event was another great success despite the bad economy. Once again we apologize for the cancellation of John Nord. this was a last minute thing right up until the airport in Minnesota. Konnan on the other hand is a different story.Alot more on that to come. Whenever possible we try to replace talent but it is impossible sometimes the night before the event. Contrary to reports I have heard we had our usual 500 or so crowd. We opened more rooms for vendor talent and had a different Superticket room setup which spread the crowd out better.
We look forward to LOTR 9 on Oct 23-24 featuring the Terry Funk Ring Roast.
