JOHN TOLOS – REMEMBERING MY FRIEND

Friday was a hot afternoon in Denver. I'd worked a temp job and was headed home. Getting off the Light Rail I was set to board my bus when someone yelled my name.Looking up I spotted dear friend Bobby Verhey who said "I thought I'd pick you up". Once inside his car Bobby said those awful words "John is dead!" My world changed in seconds.
Even when you know some has health problems, it' still a major shock when you lose him. John and I were friends for decades.
While he didn't keep up with today's wrestling, John was very fond of the Fusion Pro Wrestling boys and always would ask how they were doing. Billy, Jeff and Gary thought he was "the greatest".
After suffering a major stroke 3 years ago John ended his trips to the Cauliflower Alley Club. He was the life of that reunion. We always looked forward to having him with us.
Let's remember John in the fun days with him. He doesn't want tears. John will be missed so much by so many.
Rest In Peace, my friend. I love you.
