Lacey Von Erich, 22, the former developmental Diva and daughter of the late Kerry Von Erich was taken to hospital on Sunday.

She had a severe migraine that wouldn't go away and the doctor diagnosed her with meningitis. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

When I was 17, I was diagnosed with Meningococcal meningitis, I got at a Wedding.  It is contagious and very dangerous.  you can die from it.  I had the high fever and stiff neck.  My Mom brought me to the doctor, who suggested we go to the hospital for a spinal tap.

That was no fun at 17 and I sure was scared at the time.  The hospital had to fly in sulphur from Washington, DC to save my life.  They wanted to put me in a contagious hospital but my Mom fought against it.  So I got a private room, thank goodness I had health insurance with AT&T, who I was working part time for at the time.

The reason I'm telling you this is because it is very serious and dangerous.  Hopefully Lacey will be fine and recover quickly.   Our thoughts and prayers to Lacey.
