…..

This was my first Signamania. I was a little unsure of what to expect but heard that George ran one of the smoothest conventions so I had high hopes.

Everyone I met was very cool.

Sunny- Took time to ask your name. Let you hold her Slammy for photos. Very awesome to meet.

Cowboy Bill Watts- Bill was very kind at heart. I was sad that more people weren't interested in meeting him as he was probably one of the nicest people I've met.

Jim Cornette- Another cool guest. Nothing amazing but nothing bad.

Shelley Martinez- What a sweetheart. She was very kind and had one of the longest vendor guest lines.

Victoria- One of my favorites- She was so very nice. And made sure she thanked everyone who came to see her. She defines how a guest should be in terms of approachability and fan friendliness.

Jimmy Hart- Another class act. He made sure I got a good photo as the first one was a little blurry.

Bret Hart- Most everyone there was there to meet the Hitman. He had the longest line of anyone there. I talked to him about his book, and even though rushed, he attempted to take time with every fan.

My gripes included:

Being rushed with Bret- Obviously they had to move things along and all. I paid for a photo with Bret; not the Hart Foundation. Although a picture with Jim was nice; with my first time meeting Bret I really just wanted him in the picture. The staff was so rushed to get people through, anyone with a GA Bret combo had to have The Anvil in their picture.

Franklin Square Video- This is my second time doing an event of theirs and the second time they have lived way below what company should be doing when holding a signing. While in a long line for Jimmy Hart and the Nasty Boys, countless numbers of people were cutting in line, and they did nothing about it. I had made sure I bought a ticket early, but anyone buying a ticket on the spot headed right to the front of the line from what I saw. At one point they had 4 lines going because of all the talent they brought in. It was very hard to figure out which line was for who. Very poorly done and I highly recommend you avoid them unless necessary lest you want a headache.

All in all I had a great day meeting some fantastic ladies and gentlemen. Hats off to George and his staff for doing a good job and working through issues as best they could.
