2009 King And Queen Of The Ring Tournament, Featuring TNA Star Jay Lethal, Headlining NWS & WSU In Kearny, NJ Saturday 4/11

A huge night of National Wrestling Superstars pro wrestling action will take place again at Kearny, NJ's Presbyterian Boys & Girls Club Gym, 663 Kearny Avenue (minutes from Routes 280 and 21) on Saturday night April 11th, with a 7:35pm bell time.

For NWS fans in south Jersey who have witnessed this event in the past, they'll have to hike up to north Jersey this year to see the annual NWS King And Queen Of The Ring Tournament, featuring top male and female athletes competing together inter-gender tag-team style, in a one-night single elimination tournament.

NWS has pulled out all the proverbial stops by bringing in, from Spike TV's TNA Wrestling, "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal, who with rising area star Miss April will be one of the eight teams competing in this prestigious event. They will have their hands full right from the start, however, as they are scheduled to face the self-professed "Legend Killer" Helter Skelter and his partner the veteran Trixie Lynn in the very first round.

Also joining the fray will be the current NWS Heavyweight Champion Vicious Vinny and his partner the lovely Brooke Carter, along with the former champion "The Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny Demanto, who, along with his tag-team partner Jana, will no doubt be looking for some one-on-one payback against the champion.

NWS Cruiserweight Champion J.D. Smoothie (who sometimes has a hard time playing with others) will be teamed up with the bubbly shop-a-holic Roxxie Cotton, area brawler Bison Bravado will team with Philadelphia star Annie Social, former NWS Jersey Shore and Tag-Team Champion Nicky Oceans will team up with area newcomer Autumn Breeze, and former WWE protege Damian Adams will team up with another area newcomer Just Jennifer.

And if that weren't enough already, two more top ladies will put on what is expected to be a most un-lady-like brawl for the ages, as newly-crowned Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) Champion Mercedes Martinez has a return title defense against the lady she won the title from in early March, the double-tough Angel Orsini.
