I went to see Ric Flair last night in Danbury for big time wrestling . We waited almost 2 hours in line but it was worth it. As usual Ric was great, he kept us going with 5 minute intervals of wooooo. Johnny Ace showed up and cut the line, Ric looked surprised to see him but they hugged and laughed. When I finally got up to get my picture with the Nature Boy I whispered to him its good to see Johnny Ace sees in person how many people you could still bring in. He laughed and said he was thinking the same thing. (at least 500 people were in line). The wrestling show was good the only problem was it started 45 minute late. Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine were fantastic. It amazes me to see 6 and 10 year olds singing the Honky Tonk Mans theme music, he definitely still got it. The angle they used with Cena Sr. and Flair was great. I still can't figure out why Cena Sr. isn't a heel manager in the WWE. He's probably one of the best I've seen shades of Cornette and Blassie. All in all it was a great night. |
