IWF Pro Wrestling February Fury Weekend Live Events:
Sat, Feb 21 & Sun, Feb 22 @ IWF Centre, West Paterson, NJ
(WEST PATERSON, NJ)- Live Independent Wrestling Federation action returns with February Fury Weekend live events this Saturday, February 21, 7:30 pm and Sunday, February 22, 4 pm at IWF Centre, 32 Willow Way, West Paterson, NJ. Here is a complete preview of the upcoming cards.
Day one Saturday, February 21st features a spectacular Triple Main Event. The IWF Heavyweight Title will be up for grabs in a Lumberjack Match as four-time champion Kevin Knight defends against challenger Hi-Definition Chris Steeler with Commissioner Rich Ross. With Ross Family interference prevalent in their previous title matches, other wrestlers surround the ring to guarantee there is no unwarranted assistance and no escape.
The IWF American Title will be decided in a Best 2-out-of-3 Falls Match as challenger Dark Dragon Kareem West looks to dethrone two-time champion Damian Adams with Commissioner Ross. Adams, the 2008 Tournament of Champions winner, scored a controversial win over West in November. In this rematch, a wrestler must win 2-out-of-3 falls to claim the title and guarantee a clear-cut winner.
In a No Disqualification Street Fight, Juicy Justin Corino seeks retribution against the 340-pound mastodon Franciz with Boss Ross. Last month at Winter Warfare, Tag Team Champions Franciz and Steeler defeated Corino and West after Justin was blinded by The Ross Family with an aerosol spray in a desperate attempt to keep the titles. As seen on Eruption, this combustible contest at February Fury is anything goes...a fight to a finish.
In singles action, Stellar Travis Blake looks to work his way back into title contention against friendly rival Dangerous Dan McGuire. McGuire returned last month at Winter Warfare with a victory and now faces Blake in what's sure to be an outstanding scientific wrestling encounter.
In a Tag Team Match, Mad Dog Jenkins & Biggie Biggs of "Bigg Nutz" defend USA pride and tangle with archrivals Portuguese Powerhouse Dan Marques & German Menace Kraig Stagg of "Foreign Affairs" with Evan Schwartz.
A return match for the IWF Junior Heavyweight Title pits champion The Tasmanian She-Devil Jennifer against former champion Feisty Femme-Fatale Jana.
In other action February 21st, Fady "Arabian Bull" Madani & Chachi Perez square off in tag team action against the unlikely combination of King of the Streets Tony Torres & Bruising Bookworm Frank Scoleri.
Day two Sunday, February 22nd features an IWF Heavyweight Title Match as champion Kevin Knight takes on rookie challenger German Menace Kraig Stagg with Evan Schwartz. Stagg looks to take the IWF Championship back to his native Hamburg and make good in his first-ever title bout.
In an IWF American Title Match, challenger Mad Dawg Jenkins of Bigg Nutz looks take a bite out of champion Damian Adams of The Ross Family. Can the Mad Dawg fetch the American Title away from the clutches of Adams and Boss Ross?
There will be an IWF Tag Team Title Match, as issuing an Open Challenge are champions Hi-Definition Chris Steeler & Franciz of The Ross Family. Just who will step up to the plate and look to upend the current kingpins?
