Georgia Wrestling History sent this in: GWH Radio Network Set to Launch in January

Beginning on January 4, 2009,
Georgia Wrestling History’s new project, the GWH Radio Network, will debut. The GWH Radio Network brings you a variety of radio shows almost every night of the week. More information will be made available within the next week or two regarding these shows. However, a brief overview of what you can expect:

MMA Sunday

GWH is teaming with the
Canvas Chronicle’s Ric Gillespie to bring you a weekly recap of events in the world of mixed martial arts, the latest news, and previews of things to come, as well as occasional guests. MMA Sunday, hosted by Gillespie, will air each Sunday night at 9:00 PM ET beginning January 4.

Shot in the Dark

Jimmy Rave will be hosting
Shot in the Dark, where he will bring listeners closer to the action, through his own experiences, as well as from insight of his guests. Shot in the Dark debuts on January 5 and will air on Mondays at 9:00 PM ET when Rave is not booked elsewhere.

Dan Masters Live

Whenever something garners an opinion, Dan Masters is always quick to make certain his is heard, and wherever there is something big going on, he seems to find his way to it. A blend of wrestling and entertainment news and information,
Dan Masters Live will be broadcast each Tuesday at 9:00 PM ET starting on January 6.

Peach State Pandemonium

Hosted by Rich Tate and Les Thatcher, GWH’s anchor show –
Peach State Pandemonium, which has been in production since its launch in March 2008 – will resume following a brief holiday break on January 7 at 9:00 PM ET. PSP has become known as a show that presents opinion-based commentary, interviews with stars both past and present, and a recurring segment known as the Wayback Machine, which covers topical discussion with pivotal figures from the past, and can be heard each Wednesday night.

The NoseBleed Section

On Thursday nights at 9:00 PM ET beginning January 15,
the NoseBleed Section debuts with hosts by John ‘Stoney’ Cannon and Joe ‘Joco’ Cowart. The NoseBleed Section will be a tongue-in-cheek look at the world of pro wrestling much the same way the Soup looks at entertainment and the Colbert Report sees politics.

PSP Fix

Each Saturday before a PPV from
World Wrestling Entertainment or Total Nonstop Action, Rich Tate talks to the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer to get insight, predictions, expectations, etc., of the event, as well as other top stories going on in the world of pro wrestling. Often, other top stories merit the need for a PSP Fix as well, so stay tuned to GeorgiaWrestlingHistory.com for show schedules.

William Hatfield sent this in:

You have seen the triumph and tragedy and the heroes of World Class, but you haven't heard the whole story.

The story continues here tonight on The Wrestling Hotseat with the creative genius behind the cutting edge
television production of WCCW, I'm talking about Mickey Grant.

Mickey Grant joins me to discuss his deceased friends "Gentleman" Chris Adams & "Playboy" Gary Hart. We also
go in depth about the history of Chris Adams, the drugs, the controversy, and ultimately the tragedy. We discuss
drugs in wrestling, personal responsibility, and Mr. Grant's new film "Gentleman's Choice" a documentary about the life, death, and legacy of Gentleman Chris Adams. The film is available from www.eyesoda.com and will be officially released on Tuesday December 16th at www.eyesoda.com

This interview goes in depth and gets sometimes emotional, sometimes controversial, but ultimately is done in a spirit of prevention of help. Mickey talks about the motivation behind making the film, problems with the political system, addiction, drugs and more.

This is one interview where I sit back under the proverbial learning tree and listen to a true genius of the business who was there during one of the most influential times and territories in the history of the business.

You can visit Mickey Grant's website at www.creativehat.com
This interview is available for free in our streaming flash player at www.myvirtualbc.com

Or you can direct download at
http://www.myvirtualbc.com/audiointerviews/mickeygrant.mp3

I encourage fans of Chris Adams and World Class to please visit www.eyesoda.com and order this documentary. This will give you a more complete view of the real Triumph and Tragedy of one of WCCW's biggest stars. This film is being released on little to no budget, so word of mouth and the support of wrestling fans is what will make this a success.
As always The Wrestling Hotseat is brought to you courtesy of www.hirepowered.com if you need employees, it's free to post jobs! HirePowered Dot Com
