Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei have been nominated for Golden Globes
for their performances in the upcoming film "The Wrestler". Rourke got
the nod for the Best Performance by an actor in a motion picture
drama, while Tomei got the nod for best performance by an actress in a
supporting role. Meanwhile Bruce Springsteen "The Wrestler" song written
specifically for the film also got a nod for Best original song in a
motion picture.
Rourke will go up against some stiff competition in  Brad Pitt
(Benjamin Button), Sean Penn (Milk), Leonardo Di Caprio (Revolutionary
Road) and Frank Langella (Frost/Nixon)
Tomei will take on Kate Winslet (The Reader), Viola Davis (Doubt),
Penélope Cruz for Vicky Cristina Barcelona, and Amy Adams for Doubt
(2008).
Winners will be announced January 11th 2009 and the entire Golden
