| live at UFC 91 on PPV from Las Vegas, NV at the MGM Grand, Brock Lesnar defeated UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture to become the new UFC Heavyweight Champion via TKO (punches) in Round 2 (3:07). Lesnar dropped Couture with a right hand and then landed numerous punches until the referee stopped the fight. The referee gave Couture time to recover, but the punches from Lesnar were just too much for him to handle. Quote of the night was the post-fight interview with Couture who called Lesnar "one big sum bitch." |
After the match, Brock's wife Rena came to the ring for hugs and kisses, and Brock kissed her belly and rub his hand on her stomach.
