World Wrestling Entertainment’s RAW crew will be at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, IN, for the live broadcast on the USA Network tonight.

WWE results from the Unforgiven PPV event at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH, on September 7: Matt Hardy won the scramble match for the ECW Heavyweight Title over Mark Henry, Chavo Guerrero, Finlay, and the Miz; Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase, Jr., retained the WWE World Tag Team Title against Cryme Tyme, with Afa, Jr., getting involved; Shawn Michaels over Chris Jericho in a “non-sanctioned” match when the referee stopped the bout; Triple H won the scramble match against Jeff Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, Brian Kendrick, and MVP to retain the WWE Heavyweight Title; Randy Orton, Rhodes, and DiBiase, Jr., attacked CM Punk backstage, leaving him unable to defend his title in the main event; Michelle McCool over Maryse to retain the Divas Title; a segment where the Big Show brawled with Undertaker; in a scramble match featuring Rey Mysterio, JBL, Batista, Kane, and Jericho, replacing the injured Punk, Jericho got the win for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. In a pre-show dark match, it was Evan Bourne over John Morrison.

WWE has announced the following events: October 17, WWE RAW in Monterrey, Mexico, at Arena Monterrey; November 4, WWE SmackDown/ECW in Orlando, FL, at the Amway Arena; December 21, WWE RAW in Fort Myers, FL, at the Germain Arena; and December 30, WWE SmackDown/ECW in East Rutherford, NJ, at the Izod Center.

Total Nonstop Action results from the Times Union Center in Albany, NY, on September 7: Jay Lethal over Sonjay Dutt; Jacqueline & Awesome Kong over Traci Brooks & Roxxi Laveaux; Eric Young over Johnny Devine; Rhino over Abyss in a no disqualification match; Petey Williams over Consequences Creed to retain the TNA X-Division Title; Beer Money over Team 3D to retain the TNA World Tag Team Title; Samoa Joe over Kurt Angle, Christian Cage, and Booker T in an elimination match to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Title.

GWH wishes a happy birthday to the Great Kabuki (60), the Barbarian (50), Raven (44), and Rick Michaels (34).

Today in Memoriam: Brian Hildebrand (38, 1999).

Ric Flair was involved in an incident that left the legendary wrestler “bloodied and bruised” and his daughter Ashley, 22, arrested for assault on a police officer. The incident occurred on Saturday night in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Chapel Hill, NC. Concerned residents called local law enforcement when they heard a loud confrontation. When officers arrived on the scene, the Flairs and an unidentified male, 22, were engaged in a heated discussion, resulting in officers using a taser gun on Flair’s daughter. She has been charged with resisting arrest and assaulting an officer. A court date has been set for October 6. Her father did not press charges.

According to Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White, the September 6 UFC 88 event at Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA, drew a $2.6 million gate, making it the second highest gate in the venue’s nine-year history. A Barbra Streisand concert in 2006 holds the record. All fighters received a reported bonus of $60,000.

The Technicians (Bob E & Tyler Smith) beat Hollywood Brunettes (Kyle Matthews & Andrew Alexander) and Talent & Money (J.T. Talent & Drew Pendleton III) and The Franchise (Ryan Michaels & Matt Sells) and Big Time Playaz (Scott McKenzie & Danny Matthews) in a tag team Battle Royal to earn a shot at the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Championship. The results of the Georgia Christian Wrestling Federation card on September 6 in Cedartown, GA: Darryll Hall defeats Billy Havoc. Jay Bird defeats Texas Ranger. London Cross defeats Devon Diamond in a GCWF Featherweight championship match. "Hott Stuff" Brian Slater & The All-Star defeats GCWF champion JJ Grizzley & The Jesus Freak when Grizzley used a chair on Slater. Ivan Koloff tried to get the decision reversed stating that Grizzly never hit him with the chair and that it was tossed in by manager Fast Freddie. Koloff entered the ring and Slater clocked him in the head. Koloff challenged Slater to a Russian Chain match for November 22.

Global Championship Wrestling results of the September 6 show in Palmerdale, AL: In a dog collar match, "Maddog" Dan Sawyer defeats "Wild Thing" Will Owens. Soul Crusher defeats Skum Kritter. Jayson Phoenix defeats Russian Assassin. Sumie Sakai defeats Genni Right. The INHuman Fly & Joey Lightning defeats Shooting Star & Viper. Scotty Blaze defeats Muddone. The next GCW show will be on September 20 at the Pell City Civic Center in Pell City, AL.

Welch also announced that Stan Vachon had been fined $500 and put on probation for the discovery of a weapon during his match with Tom Jones on September 7, 1973.
