……
Venice Beach Today
Was a Unorganized Madhouse.
My Girlfriend, My Friends & I arrived at about 6:45am. Upon arrival, we were informed that the First 100 People would get wristbands and that we were approx #50 in line. Candice & Lena arrived about 15 Minutes Early and the wristbands had not been distributed yet. The Event Staff at the beach decides to start handing the wristbands out while Candice and Lena were playing to the crowd. There were numerous people hopping over the barricades and pushing past people in Wheelchairs, with Strollers and Pregnant Women. After about 15 minutes of wristband distribution, we were informed that ALL the wreistbands were gone. Yet none of us that had been there as long as us had gotten wristbands. Needless to say that upset quite a few of us. A riot almost insued.
We were then told that Security Guard "A" was wrong and there were still some wristbands. After about 15 more minutes, those of us that had been waiting since 6:45-7:00am finally got our wristbands.
After getting our wristband and being hearded through the photo area like Cattle we headed over to where Candice was actually going to be signing autographs at Noon. No barricades or anything set up to keep control of this line and to make it worse it was set up right next to the Telemundo booth. So as soon as people got what they wanted at that booth, they merged in and cut alot of the people in that line. Upon informing the Security we were told that they "Didn't Care".
We didn't even stay for the matches because at this point we were too Pi$$ed off to tolerate any more stupidity...
Hopefully other people had a better experience, however I sincerely doubt it...
