IWC Tag Team Title TLC Match:
Sexual Harassment defends against BabyFace Fire
The IWC Tag Team Champions Sexual Harassment and BabyFace Fire teamed up at Ellsworth Basebrawl 2008 to defeat Family members Jimmy DeMarco, Vendetta, and the Gambino Brothers. After the match, as all four men were celebrating their victory, a friendly challenge was made: Shiima Xion & Jason Gory asked for their rematch at No Excuses 4 on August 2nd. Last month, after a 7 month hunt for the title, Justin Idol & Eric Xtasy defeated BFF for the IWC Tag Team Championship. But both teams felt they had done all they could when it came to straight up tag team matches. After meeting at May's Hell Hath No Fury and June's Summer Sizzler, as well as countless multi-team tag matches over the last several years, both teams felt like they deserved to give the fans something different.... something special. As a result, BabyFace Fire will get their rematch against Sexual Harassment for the IWC Tag Team Titles... in a TLC MATCH! The tag team Tables Ladders & Chairs Match is a rarity in IWC, only having happened once: October 19th, 2002- Sexual Harassment vs. Josh Prohibition & M-Dogg20. Eric Xtasy & JT Rodgers, then-IWC Tag Team Champions, took future IWC Tag Champs Josh & M-Dogg to their limit, delivering a brutal Strawberry Surprise onto a chair. That move helped the current encarnation of Harassment win the titles again on June 7th, 2008 in Elizabeth. Now, two of the top tag teams in IWC will put their bodies and the titles on the line as they compete in TLC!
IWC Super Indy Title Match:
Jerry Lynn defends against Super Hentai
Six years ago, Super Hentai was on a roll. Fresh off of winning the first ever IWC Super Indy Tournament to be crowned the first ever IWC Super Indy Champion, Hentai was unbeatable. When April 2002 rolled around, he had a big challenge in front of him. Sure, he'd beaten Christopher Daniels, CM Punk, and Orion all in one night to win the title. Sure, he successfully defended the title against Chris Hero the next night and Colt Cabana a month later. But this one was different. He was set to take on a former world heavyweight AND light heavyweight champion and one of the best and most respected professional wrestlers in the entire world. He had to defend against a man who revolutionized professional wrestling in Americawith his feuds against the Lightning Kid and Rob Van Dam! Super Hentai was facing "The New FN Show" Jerry Lynn. Lynn gave Hentai the fight of his life that night, but like we said earlier... Hentai was unbeatable. On the winning streak of a lifetime, Hentai defeated Jerry Lynn to successfully defend his Super Indy Title. Now, six years later, the tables have turned. Hentai is on a hot streak, defeating Super Indy VI winner and former 2-time Super Indy Champion "Sweet N Sour" Larry Sweeney to earn his title shot. Lynn's love of professional wrestling has been revitalized by his Super Indy Title run, having defeated both Shiima Xion & Jason Gory, as well as Davey Richards to win the Super Indy VII tournament, and defending successfully against Sweeney and Johnny Gargano. Will Hentai be able to defeat Lynn once again? Or will Lynn's Super Indy Title run continue?
Jake "The Snake" Roberts & Michael "The Bomber" Facade vs. The Hollywood Balds
It seemed to all come to an end at June's Summer Sizzler 2008. Shirley Doe & Super Hentai defeated The Gambino Brothers in a street fight. But before the match ended, Doe, Hentai, & Michael "The Bomber" Facade were able to extract revenge on their tormentors, including the Hollywood Balds of Jimmy DeMarco & Vendetta. It was seemingly over... until the Balds attacked Facade on his way to the ring for his match with Jason Bane in Ellsworth. Six seconds later, Bane dealt a harsh loss to Facade. After it was all said and done, Troy Lords, a mentor to the young Facade, sat down and talked with the "Suburban Terrorist". He informed Facade that he needs to just let it go and leave the Balds to their own business. But Facade could not end it. He enlisted the help of a wrestling legend to take on DeMarco & Vendetta. He seeked out one man who disposed of both Balds, at least before "Fabulous" John McChesney interfered. He seeked out the master of wrestling psychology... Jake "The Snake" Roberts! Can Facade finish off this chapter in his career, at the advice of Lords? Or will his hatred for the troublemaking Balds lead to his downfall?
Raymond Rowe vs. Jason Bane
Unfortunately, Samoa Joe has been pulled from August 2nd's No Excuses 4 by TNA Wrestling due to a scheduling conflict with a TNA house show in Texas. This obviously negates the Rowe/Joe vs. Bane/J-Rocc tag team match scheduled for No Excuses. Furious, IWC promoter Norm Connors made an executive decision... one that may effect IWC forever. Despite being told he is not allowed to let the match happen one-on-one in IWC, Norm Connors has booked the unstoppable Cleveland monster Jason Bane... against the "Baddest Man in IWC" Raymond Rowe! What will the commission have to say about Connors' blatant disregard for their ruling on this matter, and will it have anything to do with the future of IWC?! What will happen when the Unstoppable Force meets the Immovable Object? The ring will have to be reinforced to hold the hatred between these two heavyweights on August 2nd!
Ricky Reyes vs. "Fabulous" John McChesney
In a bizarre situation, "Fabulous" John McChesney was accidentily knocked out during his match against Ricky Reyes by his War Machine stablemate and IWC Heavyweight Champion Dennis Gregory. That led to Reyes beating McChesney once again. But later in the night, as Gregory claimed nobody else was left to take him on, Reyes appeared, choking him out. McChesney came to the ring to apparently save Gregory, but instead grabbed the mic and said that there WAS indeed somebody left. But now, Gregory injured his elbow in the fracas, and has not been medically cleared to perform at No Excuses 4. Reyes has signed to once again take on McChesney, and this time there will be no Dennis Gregory to interfere, and no Awesome Kong to distract McChesney. It's one on one, mano a mano. Will McChesney survive? Or can Reyes once again elevate himself to a shot at the IWC World Heavyweight Championship?
"M-Dogg20" Matt Cross vs. Johnny Gargano
Since his debut a little over a year ago, IWC fans have seen Johnny Gargano grow into a well-rounded performer. Already one of the top stars in the Cleveland area, Gargano came to IWC with a reputation that preceded him. In his debut, he teamed with Michael Facade to pull off the upset of his career as they defeated the Cleveland Mafia to win the IWC Tag Team Titles. Since then, Gargano has grown apart from his tag team championship partner and set off into his own singles career. In that, he has found a mentor unlike any other, former ECW World Heavyweight & WWE Light Heavyweight Champion Jerry Lynn. Gargano has become one of the top Super Indy stars in IWC, and has deemed himself ready to take on world-class calibur talent. So on August 2nd, he will find himself across the ring from former 2-time IWC Tag Team Champion "M-Dogg20" Matt Cross. Fresh off a tour of Japan and Spain, Cross is one of the most popular and successful wrestlers to come into IWC in a long time. Will Gargano be able to overcome the high-flying "Aerial Intensity" of Matt Cross? Or will "M-Dogg20" continue his dominance over IWC?
The Gambino Brothers vs. The Best Around
After impressive showings against the Hollywood Balds and the Motor City Machine Guns, the Best Around were relaxing and enjoying the sights and sounds of the Ellsworth Basebrawl community fair. It just so happened most of those sights and sounds were around the dunk tank after the Basebrawl event while Jimmy DeMarco & Viki Gambino were getting dunked. TJ Cannon & Bruce Maxwell joined in on the fun, and got attacked by the Family as a result. Cannon & Maxwell were decimated by Mickey & Marshall, and demanded a match for No Excuses 4!
CJ Sensation vs. Logan Shulo
For months, as a member of ring crew & security, Logan had been bullied by Sensation. He finally got his hands on his tormentor in his in-ring debut in June. Despite his very impressive debut against Sensation, Shulo came up on the losing end, but not without Sensation with his feet on the ropes for a win. When the rematch in Ellsworth occurred, Sensation was only able to defeat Logan holding the ropes for leverage. Logan gets another shot at Sensation with revenge on his mind!
Plus all the fun and surprises you've come to expect from IWC!!!
